Oh and in the unlikely event Buddy kicks 8 this weekend should the board start a fine slush fund to pay for The King!'s expected ground invader fee to celebrate the 1000 goal milestone?

The fact that Stephens got a mention in the same breath as Warner is potentially worth a double hug from Horse. Maybe a sign that the club rates him still and he's not necessarily out the door as some think. Of course, we have limited options and Horse is fairly no nonsense (ROK aside), so wouldn't surprise me if we call on whoever is needed.

Will Hayward did mention McDonald was injured in a Sunday Footy Show interview (8 days ago), so I guess now we know what it is.

The club has made it very clear that they want Stephens to stay, but we won’t be breaking the bank to do it.

Just say we win this week and our next game is in Adelaide and then the AFL announce Adelaide as the Grand Final. Can see Hickey's wife moving to Adelaide.

Highly unlikely SA health will allow it and Mrs Hickey is not able to fly anyway.

It seems pretty absurd that the AFL made a big song and dance about gettin the familes down to Melbourne/where the clubs are...then a sneeze later, potentially 5 weeks without their families again.

This has nothing to do with what the AFL wants, they are dictated to by both WA and SA governments in relation to quarantine and to get the games played.
