Liking Ange or disliking Ange has nothing to do with how he messed up tactically in the second half.

I like Ange.

Sometimes it’s better to have a go and get clapped off the pitch by the supporters rather than park the bus for 1 point.

Imagine a fan base being proud of their team and manager and some dickhead from Liverpool telling them they're wrong. What a clown 🤡
Im not telling you to not be proud of your manager or your team. Im just saying the tactics were dumb and that's why you lost.

New DVD coming out at the end of the season. Clapped off the pitch. Spurs 23/24 season finishing 6th.

Every point counts when you're trying to beat City, trust a Liverpool fan.

Arsenal were hard done by from the refs. Guimaraes should have seen red for his 2 snipes and the goal should have been ruled out for the shove in the back.

There was really nothing wrong with the ref decisions today apart from them not giving Romero a red earlier for the kick out way off the ball.
Arsenal were not hard done by.

I never would.

Did you want us to hold out against Spurs a few weeks back? ;)

If I'd watched the game, probably. I don't watch every game.

I don’t think jod is talking rubbish, I think everything he has said is valid and is a commonly shared view. Why can’t people have different opinions without all the name calling?
For those of us who have watched Ange’s teams over the years we’d be disappointed if he did sit deep and park the bus.

The reaction in England has been fascinating though, fair to say the honeymoon period is over for Ange.

Surprised Chelsea didn't try to use the inadvertent tactic that actually worked for the 2nd goal.
Just sit Jackson 10 metres offside and try and play balls down to the runners down the wings to eventually cross to him free in the middle

Lol really? I just watched Monday night football and they were all raving about Ange.

Right so justifying the red card and saying it’s irrelevant whether he went for the ball or not.

Have a guess what his opinion on Curtis Jones red card was?

Nothing he says is ‘valid’ when so easily proven otherwise. His opinions are solely determined based on the colour of a shirt someones wearing.

We weren’t getting a point had we sat back you dolt.

Yet we very nearly did by keeping them honest.

Now go away and concern yourself with your own clusterf*ck of a club.

Had that thought.

I’m going off of twitter. Journos, pundits and fans - a lot calling him naive.

I think some have been waiting for a game like this so they can tear him down. That’s another reason why I loved this morning, he doesn’t care, he will never compromise and why should he.

After one credible loss?

Fascinating is it? Not sure losing a game with 9 men while sticking to his philosophy means anything is over. This is like Cruyff claiming the wheels are falling off. Getting a bit ahead of yourself.

Sorry, I was talking specifically about the high line chat. I don’t care about a game that was a month ago, irrelevant to me.

My question would be how often does a team escape with a result with 9 men for nearly 40 minutes? If you try and sit back usually the dam wall breaks at some point eventually as Liverpool found out when they had to last 30 minutes

Ahead of myself? I love Ange and want him to succeed and believe he will. But the full on Ange love in from UK will subside now, I’m sure of that.

Or the title is over because you couldn't batter Luton

Claiming the honeymoon is over is a pretty weird comment off one game where the reaction has been pretty positive. But twitter experts are definitely the best gauge I guess.

The difference is they are all emotional and fair enough, it's their team. Im on the outside looking in and can see quite clearly that playing that tactic will not work in the PL.

Loads of pundits have agreed that the high line was suicidal but good on Ange for sticking to his guns, it was brave/naive.

That's exactly the point. Liverpool sat deep and still lost. He's acting like sitting deep was a guaranteed draw.
