Yeah I thought that might be the case when it happened. IIRC nobody was near him and he was changing direction and just kinda folded over. Looked bad. Real shame for him and West Ham.

He's the Hammers best CB but I think Zouma, Dawson and Diop should be able to cover.
Declan has pulled out of the England squad with unspecified 'illness' which is a worry.
You'd give them a run for their money.
Operation #letshaveanotherdraw in full effect.
Dawson's a worry for mine against quicker, speedier CF's. Would like to see Diop given a go, really this is his last chance to become a bonafide starting CB for us really.
That said, Ogbonna has a 1 year option on his deal that we'll likely pick up, because of the leadership he offers. But we may need to bring in a new left footed CB (Caleta - Car?) come January.
As for Dec, I'm actually glad he's getting a bit of a rest and not playing for a couple of weeks, needs a break.

If the injury list for pool going around is legitimate, Arsenal are a chance here, however I think we likely still lose to Pool this week.
That said, if Arsenal win, could you imagine telling someone after the first 3 match days that Arsenal would be knocking Pool out of the top 4? Madness.

Cavani writes freshly 2 or 3 year contract and finished in initial month 2025 at 37 or 38 y.o. well.
22-23 re building with Cavani+Ronaldo in the top and none Rashford+Martial english and french stars could go budjet external.
22-23 re building plan A are Milinkovic-Savic plan B are Lingard + Martial in raid to Rice economic value for english star £70 Million Lingard 30M + Martial 40M shift?
