The point in question from Szoboszlai’s shot is whether Salah was preventing Martinez from being able to play the ball.

Schmielchel needs to shut up a little bit, you can’t be offside from blocking the view prior to the strike. And Martinez could see the strike when it happened.
I expect that (assuming VAR looked at it) the ruling was that Martinez was not going to be able to make an attempt on saving that shot. Not sure I agree, I’d lean towards ruling the goal out.

Well Newcastle certainly didn’t play against Brighton yesterday, so the Saudi’s bought out the Glazers‘ to get an extra game this weekend.
