Could play in defence allowing Dawson further up the ground. Maybe provide some marking power which would be missing if McCartin is back.

Personally, I don’t like bringing injured players straight back in, never have and more often than not, they re-injure. Bewildering since he had a hiccup only a fortnight ago.

I like Aliir in the ruck but he is top 3 most valuable players, we’d be utterly screwed if he got injured.
