I recall Sheedy starting a first gamer on ANZAC Day game. Who would they put in?

I think Harvey may have played his first game on ANZAC Day.
I think he means Mark Harvey.
Nope, Mark Harvey debuted way before Anzac day game existed..
I'm pretty sure he means Shane..if only he wasn't an air head and worked his guts out like Trav Colyer does these days...great to see #32 blitzing!!!

I meant Mark Harvey. He debuted 21 April 84. Went on to be a star that season in a premiership year. Guys that debuted on ANZAC day game were Dean Solomon and Scotty Lucas.

Ur right about Harvey (Mark) debuting pre ANZAC day games Coll v Ess.

I can only wonder what the hell people are watching when they say Hibbo isn't in great form. It's just completely perplexing.

The guy has had three excellent games and, aside from two slightly misjudged kicks, was absolutely bloody superb all day against Carltank.

You are 100% right - Hibberd has been rock solid - He did get 3 votes in the coaches against Carlton.

Have you got stats for Essendon i50 conversion this year?

All I've found is this which says our Accuracy is second best in the league and probably unsustainably high and we have had the second lowest scoring shots this year.

Posted a few days ago that I was worried about the teams conversion of forward entries into scoring shots - We actually rank 16th in the leage - We will get a better guide around Round 11 - But it has to IMPROVE.

My preference is to have Howlett as the sub. Dempsey to play back and Gleeson and Hams to push into the midfield.

Player aim this week - Ambrose to have at least one scoring shot.

Serious Q here. Would you rather beat Collingwood on Saturday or Melbourne this year?

Agree I want Ambrose hitting the scoreboard this week not just applying forward pressure/great tackles.

I think you will win both. I think you would want to beat Collingwood more, such a big stage and rivalry and all but I think losing to Melbourne again would anger and hurt more.

I personally like Melbourne so whenever we lose to them i just have a bit of a laugh.

Haha the scary thing we have lost so many times to Melbourne on a cold wet Saturday night in June at the MCG in recent times that we have become accustomed to it.
It's our traditional mid season wake up call loss :)

Yeah it seems to work well for us, being played at the G even though they have been your home games. We actually can't play at Etihad, I don't know must be a curse on us. Anyway doubt the streak will continue.

I'm guessing Hirdy has been using the same template since 2013 and he's too lazy to update it if he doesnt need to.
in 2013 the teams were never announced the same way twice, e.g. the team announced in our videos would be in different positions to the team submitted to the afl. I think they may have done that less last year as Bomber would always comment on it in the videos
