Tougher fixtures 3 of the next 5 and I've got Robertson. If I transfer out Mendy I don't really want to have 2 Liverpool & 0 City in defence and Ederson is the only City asset I trust to play each week
Who cares about tougher fixtures? They've conceded two goals all season and it's a pointless trade.

I also don't have a playing sub GK with Hamer not playing so I can't rotate him. The big thing is wanting access to a City defensive asset which Mendy, Walker & Ederson are the only options. Only Ederson is a sure thing to play

Problem with Trippier is rotation. Walker much more solid but lower scoring potential. I am also considering Doherty and can rotate with WB.
Think there's some stat that if he doesn't start he doesn't play so far, which is fine when our cheap defenders are doing well.

He is in for his clean sheet points and is very unlikely to get them in 60% of his next 5 games.

A keeper is in for their save points and potential for a CS. It's why I have Fabianski rather than splashing out.

You shouldn't be looking at a keeper as someone to rotate with the fixtures to chase CS, or if you are you should be doing a Foster/Fabianski style combination, not an Allison. That sort of keeper should be set and forget.

Adds to him being droppable for Aurier though

But like I pointed out, if he's dropped he's dropped, and then AWB/Bennet come in.

I think running with three premo defenders (or at least, from three big clubs) is the way to go, so swapping Mendy out for Trip seems to make sense. I guess other option would be Walker?
I'm unsure about Trippier. Spurs fixtures aren't the best with 4 of their next 6 away from home and then they play two big clubs after that. Looking at his scores in comparison to players much cheaper, players like Boly, Duffy and Tarkowski have basically scored the same as he has, as much cheaper players.

Honestly I like Laporte the best but then there's a rotation risk like there is with Trippier. Also Trippier only has 6 points from his last 3 games so it's not like Spurs' defence is going that well right now.

Walker seems the safest tbh and is a straight swap back to Mendy when the latter is fit. Might just do that since I have 2 free transfers this week.

Walcott -> Richarlison for a 4 pt hit... all tokens still intact...sitting on 392pts. with 1.6 in the bank.
I'm looking to rotate out King & Wilson this month as Bou hit their likely dry patch.

Yikes, two Bournemouth strikers is brave.

So I'm 5 points behind you after your hit, but I've used my WC.

EDIT: You sure 392? Can't see you in our league.

Went Mendy > Walker. Bit worried there's still no news on Mendy's injury plus saw a rumour he might even be suspended for his driving charges. I doubt the latter is true but anyway. I will get Mendy back when he is fit (it won't be next week against Liverpool so the transfer seemed worth it since I will go at least 2 games without him).

He's dropping in price and Trip is going up so seems perfect for me, I can easily switch Trip back to Mendy when he's back.

I tossed up between Trippier and Walker and ultimately Spurs dodgy defence and Trippier more likely to be rotated than Walker made my decision for me. Honestly, it could go either way who scores better over the next few weeks so we'll see.

What's everyone's TV at? I'm at 103.1 total (0.8 ITB), which I'm guessing is OK at this time of the season?

103.4, which is quite high. 3.9 in the bank means I almost have a 100.0 value team with another 4.0 player's worth sitting in the bank.

You been chasing the price rises/falls a lot so far?

Not particularly, other than my mistake in the second week of ditching Hudson-Odoi for Kante to protect value.
