Just wondering who is your favourite player from the tigers and why?
Mine is Tom Hislop, not sure why though
part of the reason maybe because he smashed heath Shaw and Shane Obree against collingwood:D

Thats a good enough reason for me lol

might need a new fav player in 2011 though mate

Mine would have to be nahas at this point, only because he plays his ass off, is exciting and I love an underdog. Foley a close 2nd.

deledio for me. just love the way he plays, his speed, clean disposal and i just think hes a jet. i love goal kicking midfielders as well as lids is certainly one of those. will be getting a new guernsey early next season with the number 3 on it.

other favourites include- foley, morton, jackson, riewoldt and have taken a liking to martin already:D

dont like these players- mcmahon,king

Foley, gives as much as he can evey week. There were a few games there (in 2007 I think) where he was dominating the centre square. Big season coming up for him, let's hope he can recapture that form.

I would say for me its a toss up between Newman because he is a solid performer week in week out and is easily one of our best kicks and should be played across half forward but should never enter the 50 not sure if i have ever seen him kick a goal inside 50 most of them are out side, also i am a big fan of Mcguane just because he dont take no BS from anyone

Cotchin-He will become a GOD!!
Martin-He will become a GOD!!!
Nahas-He will become a GOD!!
Thursfield-I like him, sure he gets 4 disposals a game but he's is more of a Tall-Tagger thing....GOD!!!

Nahas, and Foley. Both give it their all and are the kind of players you come to watch when they are at their best.

Favourite player would be Mitch Morton. One of the most underrated players in the competition IMO. I had an argument with a mate and when telling him he kicked 41 goals in 09 he was very surprised.

Also have a soft spot for Deledio and Cotchin.

My favourite player was Joel Bowden until he retired (had been my favourite player since 1997 even did my year 8 german project on him) and of course Richo but never needed to tell anyone that because Richo was every tigers fave whether they said it or not. Also liked Cam Howat and Lionel Proctor but on our current list it has to be Daniel Jackson just love the way he goes about it and doesnt take a backwards step, other players who I dont mind are Jayden Post and Tom Hislop yeah he might not rack up the huge bag of possession but he adds some mongrel that we have lacked for years but yeah give it a few years and I might be adding Dusty and Griffo to the list :D

I don't know why, but I really like Jackson.

Probably because he realised his limitations talent wise and over the preseason just worked his guts out to be the fitest he could.

Admired that approach to himself and the club. More blokes need to be told that they cannot rely on thier talent.

Yet you call yourself Deledio7????

But ditto ... Mitch Morton for me too!!!

Easily in our top five players and plenty of scope to improve!!!

Haha I knew someone would pick me up on that.

I agree about Morton. I see plenty of improvement in him. He has improved immensely since debuting for the Eagles. This year he improved his pressure and overhead marking. I'm hoping he can improve his set shot kicking in 2010, something he did well in 08.

Like:
Deledio (Best player), Tambling (Underdog factor and is improving), King + Hislop (Have grunt and intimidate the opposition), Post (Mates know him), Cotchin (Smooth skills and running), Martin (Hardnut), Griffiths (Next Plugga talk up + his size), Thursfield (Good bloke, talk to him a bit).

Dislike:
Reiwoldt (Soft as butter and cant kick, needs to harden the **** up and I will forgive), Morton (Soft, and one dimensional to a degree with snapping set shots), McMahon (Soft and a brick shitter), Simmonds (Coaching saga removal and his overall shitness, may be proven wrong this year with shitness).

Can't agree SG. Could you imagine how hard it would be being a Richmond forward. We have the lowest inside 50 count and our entry into the forward line is horrible.

I think Jack and Mitch are developing very nicely. They kicked 75 odd goals between them in 09, hopefully 50 each in 2010.

I'd be surprised if he intimidated anyone
but does have grunt
still don't like him though
