When you get dozens of people all thinking that posting "Culture." is funny or relevant then, yes, it's time to crack down on these useless posts and encourage better posting.

Next season we'll probably be bringing back a "member of the month" prize as the carrot to the Red Card's stick.
If you are actually going to apply those rules, then I'll be very worried about myself if I don't get carded - and somehow I'll eek out some sort of miserable life without BF:rolleyes:

So0 this applies to all club forums as well?

geez i dont understand who cares if you get banned. I cant believe how much value people place on being or not being banned. Some mods are ok they roll with the punches, some are just tools, no guessing who the tools are????? lol Its an internet forum FFS, you would think all this goes to press. lol

It's talk like this that really rubs people up the wrong way, as another poster said, you started a thread and let a discussion evolve with various people on the topic of banning (many of whom i now see are banned)

if you didn't want the topic discussed in an open & fair (well slightly fair) manner, then you should have locked it.

Very well said. I think most members can understand a need to get a little heavy handed with some aspects of problem posting on this board. However this has clearly been a poorly executed (shall we say) plan. Many points could have been conveyed a lot better and with more respect to the forum members. Locking this thread after a better executed OP would also have been much more beneficial then preceeding to answer posts with pomposity.
