Just realised the storm have a final at anz friday night, and will be at rosehill for the races saturday. Has the potential to be one of the all time great weekends.

Oh damn!! I didn't realise the Storm were playing there Friday night. I would've flown up Friday night! :(

Does anyone know if it is possible to get ticketek to change your allocated seats to different ones if there are some available? Not too concerned if there is a fee....

Got my tickets today, driving up on Friday. Never been to ANZ before, but will be taking up my usual spot standing behind the Carlton cheer squad :thumbsu:

Return flights cost me $400. Leave Melbourne early Friday morning and return ate Sunday. Lucky enough to have free accomodation for the Friday. Sitting in 105.1
Never been to anz for a footy match. Are there any pubs close by to have a drink/s before hand?

Sure is. One right across the road :thumbsu: can't remember the name of it though but we just sat out the front and drank. Great atmosphere around the area :)

I'm sitting in 105-1 too :) GO BLUES!!

If I get over to ANZ early enough, I might keep an eye out for it. ..

The Novotel just next door. There's usually a big beer garden setup pre-game. Both sets of cheersquads should be there.

It's called the Brewery. It is just next door to Novotel as previously said.. I will be there, cheering on the boys.. Unfortunately a friend bought the tickets, so I am in 117-2 I think.. Sydney end area apparently.. Oh well :(

Does bluegal work for Ticketek! :D
I am really not sure where BG1983 works but she does seem to have a very good knowledge of the ticketing/booking process so was wondering if she maybe able to assist.

If I was to guess where BG1983 works I would think some mega corporate high flyer type role in the finance or sales or banking industry perhaps. :D

I know what industry but judging by the posts about raises and assistants I'm guess some suit wearing head of Victoria division or something

I do work in the industry we discussed but Ace is spot on with the sectors in which I specialise in :)

Try flying to Newcastle and then train to Sydney. About $250 bucks cheaper and not that much of an extra hassle.

Am intrigued by this.

There are flights that arrive in Newcastle at around 1pm on Saturday. How long does it take, and what would be the best way to get, to the game from Newcastle Airport?

Google Maps advises it takes 2 hours and 1 minute to drive from Newcastle airport to ANZ Stadium. Reckon you could keep that under 2 hours if you rushed. ;)
