So how does the ballot work with groups?

Are they competing as one?

Or is it one member wins, the whole group wins?

I'm using four barcodes. If my name gets drawn out, the Eagles will immediately try to extract the money for all four tickets from my nominated bank account. If they can't then I miss out completely and they move on to the next person. Ticket prices range from $180 to around $400 each. So I will need $1600 in my account.

So tempting to book flights from Adelaide now. The last time a team lost the prelim after having a week off was 2006 - ironically, it was Adelaide against us. Flights are $500 return right now and god knows what that will be the week before. But, I'll most likely drive if I can borrow someone else's car.

As above, if any members aren't going to the Grand Final and want to be nice, PM me. I'm happy to ship you a few bucks for the use of your barcode.

Last time I had access to 8 barcodes. I entered 4 codes then 4 codes in 2 seperate transactions. We had 4 people 100% set on going, the other 4 were kinda up in the air. So I was giving our group of 4 two chances of being selected. Probably try and do something similar this time.

Booked my flights on a flexi. Cheap(er) flights there disappeared in the 2 hours I procrastinated, so booked the next best.
Just have to hope for WCE to win & name to be selected in ballot.

Just trying to work out the odds of missing out if I go the ballot route ( have vic platnium so have a ticket if we win but would have to sit alone).

Family/friends have five or six memberships in total so your advice of splitting up makes sense.
