Unsure what I prefer, us to win the next two for a home finals birth or finish 7/8th meaning our fixture next year is easier as we're not in the 1-6 bracket... Leaning slightly towards the second option.

Finish as high as possible. Play the better teams twice as we ramp up towards 2017 GF.

With a home final we are in a very good spot to win our first final since beating Freo in 2012. If we finish 8th and play Richmond I would go in with some confidence after the way we dismantled them last time. Wouldn't like to play WB at Ethihad.

Rather take on Sydney if things fall our way.

Richmond would have something massive to prove after last year.
Western Bulldogs are very fast, probably too fast for us.

Would be nice to shove it up Sydney and Tippett.

pretty sure fixture based on post finals position so its more a matter of lose 1st final get easier draw, win and don't

I think the choice is simple then

We match up very poorly with Sydney at the moment though. We should be hoping to play Richmond, North and Fremantle because they are the teams we match up ok against.

We've really struggled against Sydney in recent years, hope we avoid them myself even though they've been struggling with form.
Nah, I want another crack at them. They are ripe for the pinching. Will remind me of 98 semi finals.....Vardy handling the rain as if it were a dry day.....at Sydney. We have to learn to beat them again!!

Called it!! :thumbsu::p

Two weeks ago In this thread I posted that I couldn't understand why so many supporters and so called experts had Geelong as certainties against StKilda and Collingwood

Thus year Geelong has been a vey poor contested ball side and both Collingwood and StKilda are solid in this space, not to mention Geelong was always going to struggle for leg speed against both these sides more so against the Pies at the G

It's pretty much worked out that way
