Carlton v Swans - Blues to best the Swans and set up a tantalising clash in week two in Melbourne.
Cripps to step up on the stage he’s craved for so long. Harry will click as the forward foil as well in a high scoring game.

Saints v GWS Giants - Saints to just be too strong at home. Although if the Giants mids can get on top of their counterparts, they may be able to get the ball in quickly enough to kick a competitive score.

Brisbane Lions v Port Power - Lions in a canter to set up a home prelim on the way to playing Collingwood in the grand final. Port have been respectable but the Lions at home should be daunting. Surely Brisbane don’t stuff this finals campaign up in week one?
