Freo supporters insisted all was well with the list two years ago. It behoves them to back Lyon in for the next 86+ matches.
Well, to be fair, Freo were in a pretty competitive grand final 3 and half years ago, so thinking their list wasn't bad a year after that is not too bewildering.

Two years ago, in their defence, everyone thought it was still in pretty good nick - they had just won the minor premiership, after all.

A third of the way into last year, though, the jig was pretty much up.

It was more the cautions that Ross isn't playing kids, Ross doesn't do rebuilds that were disputed or dismissed.

I don't see much for Freo supporters to complain about. Lyon took the list to the end of the road, as he did at St.Kilda. They're still fielding what is, by and large, a veteran side and it remains to be seen whether he stays the course.

If Richmond think they've got a list that's capable of playing in a GF in the next 2-3 years they need to sound out Lyon.

Lyon to resign and Dimma sacked in the one week. Ratten to take over the reigns at Freo.

Eade comes across as someone with zero people skills. Sack him. Install Dew.

Reckon McKenna deserves another crack and would be a good fit at Collingwood.

Simple.

Eddie needs a bigger name at Pies than McKenna. Clarkson the target

Sydney can't hold onto Dew indefinitely without a succession plan. He'll go to the Pies at the end of the year and reinvigorate them.

Dew is 37 years of age. No need to rush into any senior gig that could tarnish his log term longevity in the industry (sadly, my team included)

He will bide his time unti the right position presents. He has shown this by snubbing Melbourne and Carlton already

I've changed my mind about Buckley - I think he will last the year for sure. Who knows after that. Collingwood are playing well, players seem to care, generally coaches don't get sacked midway in that situation. Hardwick is kind of the same, players still seem to like him and there is fight generally. They just have terrible recruitment and development.

Eade and Lyon though, there is no fight there players have already given up. Ease especially looms large as the one who will fall first.

Not sure on Bucks being sacked
We are simply playing better teams than us. To be honest I think we have the third worst team in the comp, cant see us winning many games.
Interesting to see if Bucks or the club ♣ pull the pin first
