The Club’s 1-4 year players return to training on Monday
He’s gone , perhaps won’t return
Hope he’s okay.
Needed the best pre season of his life to make it and now on Personal leave, I fear that's the end of his AFL career.
Quite sad for him, hope he gets through what's holding him back mentally

Might be best for all parties if we pay out his contract and free up a list spot for the SSP.

I just hope he's okay. He's been quite open about his mental health battles, so I hope he's getting the help he needs.
I'm suprised he re-signed with us a year or so back. He should have gone home then if he was struggling.
He never wanted to be here, you could see that on draft night.

Mentally some just can’t cope with being away from family and the expectations on him as a early first round draft pick added weight
I hope he finds positivity soon to enable him to recover and somehow resume a normal life

We just can’t let him go without him specifically stating he wants to go, otherwise we will be seen as cutting him adrift and not supporting him.

I don't think letting him go is the problem. It's that no vic club wants him.

I don’t know enough about where he compared to the rest of his draft year, but I feel this could be an example of drafting a player on need (replacing Talia) over talent.

The McAsey pick alone should be enough for Haggis to go.
I don think that no club wants him is a problem, it’s his welfare that is most concerning, anything above that is secondary
