Just finished re-watching 2013 miracle on the grass. Honestly, if you're ever having a down day, that will always bring a smile to your dial. I remember watching this as a sleep deprived first time dad, bubs had recently gone down and I was screaming into a pillow as McGrath's goal sailed through after the siren. Feel like the club should have this on replay to pump the boys up every week.

Not sure why this popped into my head as I was falling asleep last night...

I remember reading once about how someone like Nick Reiwolt would go into the fish and chip shop to get a feed and while he was waiting the other customers would be picking apart his game and what he did right and wrong and could do better etc.

The thought that I got was to wonder if the same thing happens to umpires - do Razor and co go into their local fisho and get their every call debated or are they not quite as recognised when in mufti?

I think that was Tony Lockett -- Weddings Parties Anything wrote Monday's Experts about it.

Entire story is a candidate for the ‘didn’t happen of the year’ award.
A quick search of the interwebs shows the author as well credentialed. Interviewed by the likes of Nick Earls and Deborah Knight. No sign of any Demidenko style scandal brewing so I'll give her the benefit of the doubt. What a cynical world we live in.

Will settle for slightly embellished.
