Can't believe I let the 15th anniversary of this momentous occasion slip by without recognition.

I may regret asking ... what happened there on 24/02/2009 that I seem to have conveniently blanked from my memory (for possibly good reason)

Found a bog-average photo featuring Jack Payne AND Jackson Paine. See, they are different people.

To the impact Josh Dunkley has made in just one season as a Lion: "He is the player most like Luke Hodge I have come across, in terms of his personality. He is such a team man, he will do whatever he has to do for the team to win. He is forthright and he leads by example on the field, which is a lot of what Luke does. They're not exactly the same personalities but they are very similar. I love them both and I can't believe how fortunate we are to have Dunkley come and play for us.

"The killer for us was Collingwood red-time goals, and that was never an issue for us in the season, and there's the game, actually more than the game. We have looked at it and been honest about it, and in a funny sort of way we are proud of ourselves."

I like a lot of this article but this line stands out to me. We have been complaining about re-time goals for for multiple years and it was a big discussion point all year about sending forwards back and it failing

That really beats me.

Delusion or just being crafty ?

Overwhelming flag favourites according to the media in the predictions they’ve put out this week.

I’d have Collingwood favourites due to the GF being at the MCG
Was interesting that Fages brought it up in an interview recently when he said that it had been mentioned to the AFL to allow ‘away’ teams to be able to stay in Melbourne and train at the G for the full week of the Grand Final to get used to the conditions.

Andrew Dillon was interviewed by Gerard Whateley this morning and mentioned that Fages had discussed this with him.

Couldn’t think of a worse group of songs than that list. Surely the boys don’t listen to half that crap. I mean grown men wanting to play Taylor Swift WTF.
Well I guess it’s more for the crowd than themselves.

Ah yes. McIvor and complaining. An iconic duo. They'll never go out of style.

It really feels strange that the Suns are favorites with the bookies to beat the Tigers even with them playing at home.
Suns $1.43 to Tigers $2.86

The Suns were very ordinary against the Lions.
Happy for the Tigers to lose their away games even their home games.

I saw that and thought it was weird. GWS the favourite to beat Collingwood too. What do they know that we don't???

That there’s no Lynch or Dusty for the Tigers.

Take Hipwood, Daniher, Cameron and Rayner out of our forward line, and that’s somewhat comparable to the forward line Richmond will be taking the field with.
