On the Caddy front, I think two plausilble trades would be:

• Lachlan Hansen and #14 from North Melbourne for Josh Caddy (and #44) from Gold Coast.

OR/

• #13 (Goddard compensation), #24 and Gram from St. Kilda for Josh Caddy and Tom Hickey.

Not a whole lot to be honest - my contact is sailing somewhere between the Greek Islands right now.

When he comes next week, I'll have access to more info as to the goings on during the "cruch time" of Trade Week.

Piss poor list management from Stephen Icke has left us hamstrung.

We have no room to move on our list - due to average players like Aaron Joseph and Marcus Davies being given multi-year contracts on the back of crap performances last year.

Last year we were told that we were keeping our powder dry (and freeing up some room - dollar wise, again thanks to crap list management) to be able to be a player when Free Agency comes in, however we probably did bank on McLean having the year that he did (and forcing us to re-sign him).

Still early days though, and we could be keeping our cards close to our chest - but I think given McKay's and MM's comments ... we are "content" with where our list is at and won't be doing much other than trying to manouver a few pick upgrades for the likes of Russell (with Port) and Ellard (with GC/Freo).
