Genuinely LOL at Fyfe. As if it was ever going to be another way. I'm not even mad (for some reason), I just think it is funny.

Young no.

Logue, who tf knows. Was it definitely picked up in the Adelaide game, or is it something that existed and was missed, or ignored?

Sturt hurt an ankle round 3, came back to the field heavily limping. Out the next week. Played round 5, then out again. Definitely looks like an injury management issue on paper, even if the latest one is the other ankle.
Nah don't agree on the ankle ones. Not much you can do with those so don't see how the S&C can be blamed for training or on field accidents. Pretty sure they said Logue did it in game and the only reason it is TBA is because of swelling which I believe to be an authentic reason to have not scanned.

Don't worry though, the Fyfe call will put the spotlight on our S&C more than enough.

Probably not showing symptoms because his head fell off.

Darcy - Missing Head, TBA
Its a complex injury with significant swelling at the moment.

We have to wait for the swelling to go down before we know the full extent of the missing head

I guess if Fyfe plays this weekend and we win then it's a good call, three wins in a row is a big deal, but if he can't get up for the derby then it's all on its head

And if he plays, gets injured and we lose?

Personally, i agree with you though as I think a 80% Fyfe would still give us more in the 50 then anything else we've got in the sheds.

When is a hamstring injury a week?
Glad we got the W but there’s other options rather then pushing Fyfe. He’s not getting any younger.
Give Dixon a shot up forward or Meek in the ruck. Valente can cover Fyfe as well.
Medical staff.. how comes the melts

“Hamstring awareness” as the AFL fondly calls it

He'll progress this week and hopefully we'll look to find his head shortly

West Coasts injury list;
Luke Shuey - Hamstring - test.
Willie Rioli - Stoned - TBA
‘Stevie’ (Adam Simpson’s dog) - fleas - TBA.

Do West Coast even have an Injury Thread?
fu** it’s frustrating!
Came here to find out about Fyfe- I am fully expecting him to play on Sunday- but to answer this rhetorical question, we do have a good injury list, right now at least but that can turn pretty quickly. I don’t think it’s anything special we are doing, just a bit of luck.

If you read these threads over the past few years on our board they aren’t overly flattering of our medicos, either. Communication around injuries is a big bugbear of ours.

Fyfe was always going to aggravate the hamstring after an early return. Money in the bank.

This what is so continually frustrating.

The club has changed it's coach, it has changed assistant coaches, it has changed it's players, it has changed the CEO and it has even changed the bloody training HQ. But it still keeps the same medical and S&C that fails year in and year out.

Go figure.
