Not a great sign that Acres thinks being dumped is getting his fitness back up to speed and not footy related. I would have thought it was a clear "football" decision.
I heard the interview he had with 6PR and that was his initial comment. Then when pressed a bit further about just getting his fitness up and then straight in he said there were a couple of other matters for him to work on at training.

I’m quite certain his tentativeness was raised as it should have- was very ordinary. It’s how he responds is what I’ll be interested at seeing. But from the same interview he is next to no chance of playing this Monday.

I agree with others good opportunity to give Valente a crack. Big solid body and the rain slows everyone down. Bring in Hogan and get Fyfe back into the middle a bit more.

Yeah he is looking good...

Another injury omission that wasn't announced prior...
‘Minor groin injury’ for Matera. can only guess it was minor enough they thought he’d be fine, or they’re being kind and using that instead of saying he was dropped (it’s either that or his groin is completely cooked)

I think Matera is completely cooked. Has been next to useless this year. Groin or no groin.

this was my first thought

I notice that other teams like the dogs (Dunkley and naughton) are able to get their players back in 6 weeks from those syndesmosis ankle injuries after surgery (Prestia and Nankervis also examples), but Hayden Young was listed at 10-12 weeks and then ruled out for the season....

Honestly, it has to also be something to do with who we are seeing for surgery right. How can we have so many complications from surgery and are we not seeing the same guys as the Eagles or do they have them on some kind of non-compete retainer or something. It's infuriating.

On another note, I think the autopsy report is today if Sturt is still listed as TBA or ****ing season, I might just blow a fuse

I personally think that JLo is getting wins without them and they are the future so choosing not to risk them in an irrelevant season, i.e. they could get them back to play this year but would it be worth it.

What time can we expect an update from casualty central?

Night game on Monday so you'd expect 5-6 tonight probably.

Given how they've flogged the good vibes in the media on the website I'm bracing myself for someone to have lost a limb after the game somehow

It’s always one that takes you totally by surprise. Usually after a standout performance. I’ll guess ryan or Cerra this week. 😥

McCarthy's hair was a recent casualty going off the insta move to Cairns hub promo. Serong's I will forgive for the timebeing

So Sam Sturt still TBA. They are actually trolling us at this stage. Why can’t a journo actually ask someone at the club about him?? It’s like he’s disappeared off the face of the earth 😡
