what's anthropic surgery

never mind i searched it my new question is what is the aim of the anthropic surgery
Layman’s terms - Clean up mess

The surgeons go in with a microscopic Needle camera and clean out the joints (ie smooth off rough edges or cartilage, tendons etc, remove floating bits of tissue or bone or address scar tissue issues.

Rumor mongering.

What does it look like.
Either way you don’t have to be blind Freddy to see there needs to be some change.

The point I was making is that it all isnt at the feet of Webber. It is down the line medical treatment/diagnosis that needs an overhaul and people in the club acting outside their area of expertise.

Hamling wouldn’t be happy with the medical team. We know what his agent Colin Young had to say last year. However with an infection that has complicated his recovery.

This information plus the recent comments from another poster about the likes of Dr Withers and Boyle being out-dated and not keeping up to date with modern Sports Science and Medicine is a little concerning.

Let’s hope there are some serious changes in 2021.

who said that, did I miss that post, could someone show me.

Ken Withers has been the club Doctor for too long. It's his final call to send Injured players back on the ground, for example Sturt this year.

Is Andy Brayshaw injured? West Australian article is paywalled.

They’ll rest him Monday given 5 days it’s Carlton.
Hopefully it’s Valente but will safely be Acres. Gets another chance, and experienced body

Hamling forward? Come on man. He’s a great mark yes. But that’s like playing Grover forward. Awkward.
He’s almost like a right footed Zac Dawson. Got his hopes up a bit there. He’s an elite defender on the day. No more of these McPharlin swing abouts, we’ve learned our lesson from that.

This was in mid-2018 when our scoring was absolutely dire (more so than usual).

As mentioned, it's minimally invasive tune up stuff - shaving down bone, snipping cartilage etc. It also lets the doctor have a good look around without a massive scar.

I've had one on my knee, cleaned up an irritation and was back running within a week pain free. A real wonder of modern medicine.

If there is any major work required on Hamling's ankle then the scope will let that doctor see exactly what needs to be done.

I don't see why we'd risk Brayshaw, especially with garbage weather forecast and a 5 day break. Let Valente come in and then re-assess during the week.
Get Valente in, and give him a taste. Youngsters haven’t let us down yet this season. Hawks would be a good test for him.
Hogan surely come in too, maybe for Matera. Aish for Colyer.

Not a great sign that Acres thinks being dumped is getting his fitness back up to speed and not footy related. I would have thought it was a clear "football" decision.

Acres is delusional if he thinks it was his body that was the problem, more like his Heart imo
Its easy to criticise from the cheap seats, but I thought his lack of attack on the ball was telling
He was one the fat side of the ground often and didn't look to be moving well. Late in the game, he was hobbling into our forward line like I hobble they day after wicket-keeping for 70 overs. I'm sure there was some fitness issues for some of his lack of intensity.

Think he normally just runs like that
