It's academic at this point but it probably ends our top 4 chances, and hence any faint flag hopes. We won 4 in the bounce, we couldve easily lost to Melbourne and pinched this one.

That last quarter summed it up. Great first 5 mins then deplorable 15 mins where we kicked like headless chickens. Young in particular sprayed 3-4 when it was on the line.

Not brining erasmus for JOM in was clearly a selection mistake but it wouldn't have made much difference.

Strangly I thought Jackson wasn't terrible, but him getting manhandled by Nank puts the trade Darcy theory to bed.
Too many other passengers to name thinking it's still the bye. Fred gave up on several chases and looked lazy, Serongs wet weather pickups are deplorable, Coxs decision making wasn't all there. I actually thought Pearce was alright tho he had a couple of howlers.

I really liked Johnsons game. Kid has a future.

Does the loss hurt? Yes it does. I hate narrow losses. Especially if its at home. Those are the types of close losses that costs finals.

We played good on some parts of the game.

Richmond had 5 players in their best 23 that come from WA. Even one comes from peel thunder too.

Saying that. I agree with some on here. We lost in the selection table

We got to within 8 points at around the 10 minute mark of the 4th quarter. Then I have no idea what happened, but we stopped playing like we wanted to win and played like we were 30 points up. Too many cute kicks and stupid mistakes cost us massively in those last 10 minutes of the game.

Another game that we should've won gone missing.
Panicked they thought there was 5 mins left and they had to kick 2 goals.

There was still 17 mins left when it got to 76-69.

I really loathe the split bye rounds. Every team should have a bye on the same weekend.
The bye is stupid, it was needed when we had uneven teams but now we just have 3 weeks of less footy and a huge slap in the face to any team with momentum

Well, shit. I always thought Jackson was a ruckman first and that he could be our number 1 guy. After tonight? That is clearly not true.

Darcy is our most important player and any talk of trading him should end tonight.

Whatever Sean Darcy’s asking for, give it to him.

**** me we're a bunch of sooks. We got punched in the nose by a good chaos team in perfect chaos weather. Had our chances to win it but blew them.

So ****ing what. We aren't winning a premiership this year. Were there 'learnings' from this? Absolutely.

Was Hughes' point a goal? Yes, but we got kissed on the dick a bit from the umps so probably levels out.

Don't sweat it. Boys went ok, few mistakes and yes we missed Darcy and JOM, as you'd expect. On the plus side Amiss gets another 4 and that 2025 flag is looking good.

Stop trying to bloody sweep Carey you’ll get out aga- oh sorry wrong thread.

As soon as we got it closed we ruined every chance to go i50 in the exact same spot. Dropped marks, missed handballs, fumbles. None of it even due to Richmond at that point. Clark or Drizzy (can’t remember which) unable to hit a 10m hand pass to Freddy and it goes over line for a throw in when it should’ve been an i50.

Haven't watched it yet but given it rained in the general temporal vicinity of the game I'd guess we fumbled a lot?

I'd think twice about tipping us against the Eagles in the wet. We are so terrible at it that this is so far from a surprise for me.

Actually wasn’t too bad. More kicking skills and some ****ing brain dead moments.
