Wouldn't be difficult at all especially the teams with multiple superstars. At no point have I argued a club should go in with just 38 players, why would you think that? You criticised another poster for thinking you might take one less than the maximum and I'm arguing it wouldn't be unusual.No you didn't. My point was that with only 38 players on your list it makes it harder to pay the minimum salary cap and may also mean that they are being paid more than they are worth. Look at your own club who has had a lot of extra NSW scholarship players just for the chance that one may turn good all the while knowing that the chance is slim.
I'm baffled that you can argue the merits of one club having 38 players on their list compared to another with 44. It's a competitive industry.
You're point re the magpies only reinforces mine. If it is so vital to fill the list via all alternative methods why doesn't every club do it? I'll ask again, do you think every club should fill their category B list to remain competitive?
