Worth a look if Gumby trade falls through,would come cheaper ,is probably in better nick but has he got as much potential ?? straight swap for Robbo could work.The other one worth a bo peep at would be Aaron Black who seems to be down the pecking order at Norfs

The Age are reporting this, so contradicting the HeraldSun about Gumby. Essentially I have NFI, but at least I'm happy we are maybe chasing something resembling a KPP. Brown is interesting, I know nothing much about him
Meanwhile, Fremantle is interested in finding support for its ageing key-position stocks, with the Dockers interested in Mitch Brown from Geelong and out-of-contract Kangaroo Lachlan Hansen.
The Dockers are, likewise, interested in the player who went one place ahead of Hansen at pick two in the 2006 draft, Bomber Scott Gumbleton.

I asked about Mitch Brown on the Geelong board, since he was mentioned in the Age as a possible KPF target for Freo. Any replies I got were along the lines of "OK what's the offer" rather than "get stuffed, he's not for trade". Is he someone we would have any interest in if Gumby was out?
I definitely would, I just assumed they'd never part with him and he would be very close to playing a full season next year.
But.. if they're topy heavy enough with Hawkins, Pods, Resting ruck/potentially Hamish McIntosh next year i'd have a crack at him. No idea where to start though, he's kicked some impressive bags in the VFL on the road back from injuries. 2nd rounder (37)?

I reckon we should all sign a petition to get Kunna17 set up as our trade week guru, every year will be like GC/GWS start up concessions, he might even be able to get a premiership cup or two thrown in with one of the deals.
Interesting that article says we are out of the running for Gumbleton while it also says the Bombers have received no offers for him. How can you be out of the running with no offers made?
