Jack, no way. I honestly don't know what Silvagni is worth. Truth is we would probably only need to trade player/s for 12 and keep 16.Do we think we could throw in a John Anthony or Silvagni???

And don't think thats a fair deal in the circumstances. If we do get him for a 3rd rounder, it'd be a steal. Not sure it will get the job done though. A 2nd rounder would have it done in minutes.We would probably be happy with a 2nd rounder. word is you offered a 3rd rounder.
Do we think we could do a deal with GWS involving picks #12 and #13???...Fremantle trade pick #16 and player/s
Thoughts.....
Could be a step closer to making sure we get Shaw.
Yep, imagine it would.And don't think thats a fair deal in the circumstances. If we do get him for a 3rd rounder, it'd be a steal. Not sure it will get the job done though. A 2nd rounder would have it done in minutes.
His manager said today categorically that Fev will not ever play AFL againI see it now, we are after Fev!

FFC Premiers 2012 - Brendan Fevola 100 goals including 12 in the Grand Final.

Have done a bit more reading on Wilkins at KPR's prompting.
If we don't grab a KPF with our first pick he mightn't be such a bad needs-type fit. Outside mid that can go forward and kick goals, apparently has very good pace, good skills and a good overhead mark.
Genuinely don't know bugg3r all about him except for what I've read. He may be a reach for our first... I dunno.
Now that I think about it... maybe this should go in the draft thread.
* scratches head... and toddles off *
EDIT: Is there a draft thread?
i struggle to fathom how jack anthony could ever be mentioned as part of a potential trade. At this point, memories would have higher trade value than that chump
I just hope we can find a home for him and at least cut the TPP cost of him by half - would anyone want him at half his contract rate?

i remember watching laine dunk it in an under 14s basketball game against my brother... was pretty impressive. As much as id like to say that i know someone within the inner sanctum, if it came down to a KPP or laine and we took laine, id be dark...... would be nice if we got him with a second or third rounder though. His draft camp results are probably tipping against that however
Fremantle is all but out of the race for Gumbleton, content to go to the draft to bolster its list after securing Port Adelaide free agent Danyle Pearce.
The Dockers will do a deal with a Melbourne club for homesick tall defender Dylan Roberton, but no one has put their hand up for him yet.
Grover and VB have been replaced on the senior list by Spurr and D Pearce already. If we use picks 16, 38, 56 and 58 we will need to create 3-4 more sports on the senior list. Not to mention making room for Clancee.
Hence why pick 58 probably wouldn't be use for anything other than upgrading Clancee.
If Roberton wants to leave then we should let him ... Pick 17 from Collingwood would be handy. How About:
Freo - GWS
Pick 16, Silvagni and Ibbotson for Picks 12 &13
Then trade them and Zac Clarke for pick 5 (Bulldogs)
Trade Suban and Roberton for Pick 17 (Collingwood)
Then Trade Pick 17 and Kepler for Pick 11 (Carlton)
Conclusion: Get Picks 5 & 11 ... Lose Nobody of REAL importance to us
Zac Clarke (Craig Mollers Coming) Silvagni (May Need Low Draft Key Defender) Ibbotson (Upgrade in the likes of Broughton ... Forget 2012 he's a gun) Suban (Cant even manage a game but D Pearce) Kepler (Mason Shaw at 11)
5 = Stringer
11 = Shaw
Upgrading Spurr still counts as a draft pick, so we could get away with only delisting/trading 2 others in order to take our minimum 3 picks.
i don't really want to be giving up roberton for pick 58 just to elevate clancee, though, if i'm reading you correctly. i wouldn't be surprised if jack anthony is paid out. we've not recruited any big name players yet and if we snare someone like lachie hansen, we'd still have the cap space.Yep, which is why I said that we will likely not use our picks in the 50's this year unless we delist a few players.
Our first two picks 16 and 38 (or whatever it is) will be used to draft players. We will need to delist two more players to accommodate them on the senior list. 56 will be used for Spurr. But we may need to get rid of another for Clancee.
Annoys me that we are worried about picks in the 50's when next year GWS will have 25 first round draft picks on their list.
