Review Geelong + Chris Scott make another Prelim at Ports expense

Was there and the conditions were perfect. Our total team wanted the ball so much more than them. Defense looked better with Blitz in there hope we keep that. Lawson Humphries is a jet and made the Port young stars look second rate( except for JHF who was unbelievably good). Mannagh did even more than promised when he was drafted - love him and his impact on the teams effort ( tackles) and score assists not to mention finishing. Close and Myers wonderful - and for the first time in so long we torched em at centre clearances. Holmes is a freak. Coaching masterclass. So proud of the whole club. Rest focus on recovery and let’s go again.

I reckon if you took every teen movie from the 80s and extracted images of every school bully, conceited sports rival, and evil ex-boyfriend and trained an AI image generater on them, it'd produce Shannon Neale's mugshot. Good player, and undoubtedly a terrific human being, but jeez he looks villainous.
Would be crazy not to be considering a particular bond henchman for Wacky Wednesday. He just needs one of the smalls to play the role of his four eyed love interest to pit it over the top

I’m still in a state of shock. I was confident we would win, but didn’t see that coming. We are two wins away from a premiership!

This club is amazing.

The other thing I love about this particular team is the age profile so many young players that will play good football into the future - so many the age of 22 or younger.

I dunno who you pull out of this team for Stewart and SDK. Tuohy for Stewart, and for SDK I am not sure tbh. You almost keep Bews in just to take out the opposition small forward.

Mullin will be last in first out as good as he was.

Big finals win just gave Cats other big boosts.
Some Free Agents may now nominate Cats.

The other premiership contenders be quaking.
Media Cat's critics will be eating cold humble pie
AFL boffins will scheming to fix the Draft loop hole

Got to watch the GOAT Lawson freaking Humphries in person.
I’m jealous <3

Watched him very closely when we went to the St Kilda match a few weeks ago from ground level and his timing is sublime. The reading of the play as it unfolds is uncanny.
He's also ambidextrous. So you have that particular skill plus the speed, very tantalizing prospect.

I mentioned in the trade thread a month ago, if he becomes a legitimate star, he could (I said could) be part of the Harley Reid package as he may wish to head back North to family/friends but boy' he could be a very special player in his own right.
Absolutely gives us another dimension to the back half of the field. He and Mannagh have completely altered the side.

I don’t think I’ve seen an answer to your question, so I’ll try to help you out as someone who’s been a premeirship member for a few years

  • The Club will send an email out in the next day or so with information about the GF Ballot process
  • The ballot is generally run as 3 groupings: Priority 1, Priority 2 & Priority 3
  • Premiership members are part of Priority 1, and to be guaranteed a GF seat, should Geelong win the prelim, you need to register during the Priority 1 registered period
  • You can register in the ballot with others members but they’d need to be part of the Priority 1 group if you want to guarantee a GF seat
  • If you want to register with someone of a different priority group you need to register within the lowest group - P1 members can drop down but others can elevate. But note, if you register outside of the P1 period, you lose your guaranteed seat

If any of the above is confusing, I apoologise and happy to try and help clarify
Thanks so you can only register members , for example if you have a memebership it’s only one ticket if we win the prem right?

Our Foxtel cable got fried in the storm, so could watch through App (or 7) but couldnt record.
Does anyone know how/where I could watch a replay? I'm a bit devo about it.
Even edits of all our goals would have to do.

I know I do it a lot in my own footy. When you’re running that fast, you get momentum by pushing the ball out in front of you and running onto it.

Really hard to not want to do it but your first 10 should be without bouncing. It’s a hard thing to not fall back into doing.
You can run?

Stewart obviously had a mystery hammy but if hes fit he plays.
And sdk will play after another week in the vfl to get minutes up.
Hawkins and guthrie wont come back in i dont think too risky.

Mullin bews and tuohy would be the 3 to drop out.
Mannagh ended rohans geelong career tonight albeit rohan has been good for us for a long time.
SDK interesting strategic sub. Can play anywhere (ish) and give Rhys a chop out

Correct - 1 registration per membership. No additional seats available for the grand final

The ballot registration will be this week - the 2 winners of the qualifing finals have their GF Ballot Registration period this coming week

Then it’s just a waiting game until the Prelim Final - and win that, if you’re successful in the ballot, you’ll see money come out of your credit card after Prelim weekend
