Mine is - yeah nahMy attempt at running these days is a contradiction between my mind saying 'hell yeah' and my body simply refusing to do 100m in anything less than 5:25 minutes
Tick
Not as good as I used to as I’m now over 30 and been playing footy for 25 years.
Still have pace but back when I was younger used to blitz a lot of blokes playing down the wing and out of the middle. Did pretty well in sprinting and endurance events for representative levels.
Have to play a bit more conservative now or calves/hammies won’t hold up. Modelled a lot of my newer style play on Mitch Duncan and Robbie Gray and less like James Kelly or even his doppelgänger Max Holmes
But point still stands, Max wants to RUN and when you have to bounce and you’re going that fast it’s easier to bounce a lot to keep your momentum going and also not get pinged for running to far.
It’s more of a habit thing than anything else. Probably not the best habit as you’re taught to run your length then bounce so you can steady.
I don't know, maybe if you call a team terrible enough, it sends them to a premiership. At some stage you might admit we're okay. How the f* are we in a prelim?
I am, right here, right now, willing to admit I know nothing about football anymore.I don't know, maybe if you call a team terrible enough, it sends them to a premiership. At some stage you might admit we're okay.
Not that I am aware of... apparently it was just the flu.Is there talk around that may be the case?
I used to play footy with a dude who modeled his running off Aussie Jones from St Kilda, which was tuck the ball under the arm and sprint the first 10m then take a bounce, but tucking the ball under the arm and taking off lead to him often getting pinged for running too far.Not as good as I used to as I’m now over 30 and been playing footy for 25 years.

It's all good, I haven't been declaring us premiership favourites either, just reminding not to write us off if we play our best and opposition falter.I am, right here, right now, willing to admit I know nothing about football anymore.
It just feels like you shouldn't be in a prelim while doing a midfield transition.
Like. Am I wrong?
Can someone remind me our draft picks used for Zuthrie, Mannagh, Humphries, Miers, Stengle and even Holmes... LOL
Correct, its why Port aren't there and we areI am, right here, right now, willing to admit I know nothing about football anymore.

Best game as a pure KPD, Blicavs has played for the hoops!

Bit hard to penalise him when he bounces it every 5 metersMax Holmes can run + bounce the ball, from end to end + back again, eleventy seven times every game! Especially if Geelong goals are kicked l
Was Max ever penalised for running too far running over the 15m?
