Might be a nice idea not to generalise.There's no confusion. We both agree it's very clear that Geelong supporters want to avoid the subject of the Grand Final because it doesn't suit their narrative.
No they're not. But a true statement is that Geelong gets to play Grand Finals in their home state, which is something 8 (soon 9) other clubs never get to do.
I'm happy for Geelong to play all home finals at the G. It's never going to be possible to change that against a Melbourne based club so why bother disadvantaging the interstate clubs (relative to the MCG tenants, who get the easiest deal and always will) with half arsed changes.
Every premiership Geelong, a Marvel tenant or an interstate side wins with "home" final(s) hosting an MCG tenant at their home ground should rightly be praised very highly. Brisbane, Geelong and West Coast have done it this century.
