Sav good again

Looks much better - they all do - when the Mids pressure better

GO CAtters

The other obvious change from last week (especially the first half) & other than playing 1 tall shorter is that all of J. Henry, SDK & Ratugolea are actually playing on direct opponents and there seems more clarity with how they're going about things

There's the odd passage where you want to yell out, "bloody talk would you" because there's either miscommunication or no communication, but there seems a lot less confusion about whether or not they go with/stick with player X or Y when North is bringing the ball forward

Just hope we go on with it in the 2nd half and build our percentage instead of putting the cue in the rack and letting our opposition get some respectability back on the scoreboard like we did against the Eagles and Essendon earlier in the year.

Exactly

We were still on top & showing good signs - just that our focus on that aspect was off
Its funny though the commentators basically said we were ****ing about with it, but Danger not taking a kick and instead passing it to Hawkins was the right decision, and Hawkins kick to Miers was the right decision. It was just the handball to Tuohy at the end that was dumb. If Miers goes back and kicks it, we would be hearing about how lax the Norhf defence was.

How often have we seen teams do similar to us - take a mark just outside 50m, hit up a closer teammate and then do the same again

It's super frustrating as a fan of the defending team, especially when it m results in a goal

But for some reason when it doesn't result in a goal, the poor defensive effort is seemingly ignored to stick it to the attacking team for arrogance or whatever

Against poor opposition, but 34 touches and 20 tackles between Blicavs, Atkins and Bruhn in beast mode has been really encouraging. Generally we've looked good this year when both Blicavs and Atkins are "on", but have struggled when one or both aren't impacting the contest. It helps having Dangerfield and Holmes around them as well.

I think Bowes has been alright but bloody hell someone get Oli Henry some grippo for his hands....boy drops more marks than a school teacher!!!!
He goes for a lot of marks that could be chest marks but goes for them in the hands but only half extended. Looks quite awkward
Took one but dropped 2 or 3 the exact same way

Mullin just doing what he needs to do... nothing more, nothing less and looking solid (no mistakes).

I think keeping him in over Bews wouldn't hurt us too much and he'd continue to fast-track himself that way.

It's probably unlikely though.

We're playing like the Harlem Globetrotters. Good to build back some confidence.
When I was in u18s and ressies our coach would pull out 2 lines at times.
"You are playing like you are the ****ing Harlem Globetrotters" came out when he thought we were ****ing around too much with the ball, and "you are playing like ****ing millionaires" when he thought we weren't working hard enough.

We need to get as many games into him as possible. He’s got it
