In the interests of keeping your back and forth shite fights out of match threads so normal people can talk.

Keep it clean and above the shorts
Off topic rubbish clogging up match threads will be moved here, knock yourselves out.

Do you really think all Geelong supporters live in Geelong?
Do all Richmond supporters live in Richmond (or even greater Melbourne)?

Imagine trying to put people down simply for where they grew up/live.

It reeks of a complete lack of understanding of how the world actually works.

I don’t I recently bought a place actually. It’s great.

I doubt that you did, actually.

But anyway, back to footy. I’m very impressed Mr Yze was able to keep a straight face when he told the waiting press that Dusty was “ill” and therefore would play his 300th game at the G.

What’s your take on that situation?

I know, especially towards people in Richmond and their drug addictions. I’m sure none of you have ever done that.
Be better then. This 'whataboutism'? doesn't help your cause at all.

You're in your late twenties supposedly, right? And only just recently moved out of your parents house?

I would've thought that would have given you an understanding of socioeconomic principles, and how tough it can be for a lot of people out there...but clearly not.

It makes you sound like a teenager who's got zero understanding of the world...and you've told us all on a million occasions that you're older than that.

Nah he’s defs ill. GMHBA has that effect on people.

Haha but for real its crap. I think we just said it so it doesn’t look like we are tanking. I’m happy cause I’m going to the Hawks game at least.

Interesting you mention that
I actually see Richmond as a wealthy inner city option attractive to urban professionals

Depends what side of Richmond. It’s like two different countries right next to each other. Idk the direction but near the MCG there are houses that are like $20m+, I believe it’s the most expensive street in Australia or Melbourne. That side is loaded with cash. The other is where the commission flats and safe injecting rooms are.

Oh yeah look at this beauty. The Abletts wished they had those medals…

Fremantle were brought in to help equalise West Coast.. and stop them from having a mortgage on WA talent and becoming too powerful. The same thing needs to happen with Geelong! As it currently stands.. Geelong have a mortgage on every player from Western Victoria, which has made them too strong.. so a second team in the Geelong region is required!

In my opinion.. the side should be a similar concept to Fremantle and based on a historically strong club in the Geelong region, such as the Geelong West Roosters. Thoughts??

Richmond board.
Who mentioned Richmond?? The second Geelong side can be based at Kardinia Park.. meaning more games for the Geelong Cats there, rather than having to play in Melbourne.

Also.. two derbies at Kardinia Park for the Geelong Cats against the second Geelong side.. plus another nine games at Kardinia Park against other sides. Big win for the people of Geelong as they get 20 home and away games in their city, rather than just 9.
