I've tipped Sydney in the poll but I can't split these teams. Don't think you can use their early season clash to determine anything for these two.

Swans by 35. Too physical and Longmire won’t allow the extra cats defender to just sit in the backline. Cats have had the lightest run all year and really aren’t up to scratch, weakest minor premier I can remember to be honest. Only hope cats have is if Cameron has the game of his life which would be great to see but swans just far, far too good.

yeah it always does with grand Finals.... then just wouldn't be surprised if Geleong do it easily and we all say yeah that was obvious after the fact.

Every year I see someone suggesting that the minor premier is the weakest minor premier
When Carlton were playing good football there was only one team who got a serious hold of us, the Cats
Our other bad losses (Freo, GC, Adelaide) we were injury ridden and played like absolute shit regardless of that.
Against Geelong, we played good footy in the first and generally played as we wanted to play, but Geelong were still too good. Look back over Carlton’s year, nobody pantsed us quite the same way as Geelong did.
I think Geelong have the ability to adjust in game better than anyone else. That being said, I’m still completely undecided on this match. Both brilliant sides. Can’t wait.

The best team I’ve ever witnessed was the 07-09 cats. They were better than any hawks side I’ve ever seen. I hate your club but I realise when a team is great, this side just simply isn’t.

The swans played 5 of those matches at home
We played 4
Both sides played 3 matches against fellow preliminary finalists
Both sides played 3 matches against other teams who finished top 4
Both sides got 1 game against Carlton (ninth)
Both sides got 2 games against St Kilda (tenth)
Geelong got 2 games against Port (eleventh)
Sydney got 1.
Aside from the oft whinged about trope that we drew WCE and North twice, I don’t really see what delineation you’ve used to arrive at the conclusion that we’ve had it easier than Sydney

Sydney beat freo away, demons away, cats had every single difficult game either at skilled or in Melbourne, what was the cats impressive away win?
This plus Sydney flogged your mob the last time they played makes me believe they are a class above, time will tell hopefully your mob puts up a fight and gives us a GF worth watching.
Sydney to win in a close one and most of the post game analysis to be about the Pies.
