There aren't any neutrals here, just those that hate Geelong and want nothing more than to see them fail or 'others' being provocative to get a response.

We Are Geelong!

As per the image posted in the bay... Hawks supporters have to decide between Ishank Miss and Duddy Shanklin getting a flag

I've tipped Sydney in the poll but I can't split these teams. Don't think you can use their early season clash to determine anything for these two.

Just really keen to observe a great GF as a neutral supporter. Hope it's tight and hope the Swans get up in overtime by 5 points.

There’s no overtime in a grand final.

Yes there is.

Just for this absolute waste of my time I hope the Swans get up by 100 points

If they do I’ll fill the tray up with inflatable swans and buy four swans scarves, hang them from every window on my car and go up and down Pako pumping the Swans song.

I’ll even rip a skid infront of the Cremorne

Such a hard pick. Don't want Geelong to win a flag, but don't want Papley/Buddy to win one either.

Objectively, I think Geelong gets it done. But you never know in a GF.

Oh did they change the rule?
Good idea if so!

Swans by 35. Too physical and Longmire won’t allow the extra cats defender to just sit in the backline. Cats have had the lightest run all year and really aren’t up to scratch, weakest minor premier I can remember to be honest. Only hope cats have is if Cameron has the game of his life which would be great to see but swans just far, far too good.

This would be pretty dangerous. Hopefully I'm safe with the 30 cats I'm driving through Sydney after Geelong get up.

I was supposed to be there. All requirements taken care of and now I'm stuck in Sydney for work until next week. I hope I can get to a decent pub to watch the second half. Hoping for a swans victory. Buddy to kick 5

Reads comment… looks to club supported… makes sense!

Every year I see someone suggesting that the minor premier is the weakest minor premier

When Carlton were playing good football there was only one team who got a serious hold of us, the Cats

Our other bad losses (Freo, GC, Adelaide) we were injury ridden and played like absolute shit regardless of that.

Against Geelong, we played good footy in the first and generally played as we wanted to play, but Geelong were still too good. Look back over Carlton’s year, nobody pantsed us quite the same way as Geelong did.

I think Geelong have the ability to adjust in game better than anyone else. That being said, I’m still completely undecided on this match. Both brilliant sides. Can’t wait.

funny because the only team that had an easier run this year than Geelong was Sydney

Lightest run all year?
The swans played 8 games against fellow finalists….
We played - wait for it - 8 games against fellow finalists
The swans played 5 of those matches at home
We played 4
Both sides played 3 matches against fellow preliminary finalists
Both sides played 3 matches against other teams who finished top 4

Both sides got 1 game against Carlton (ninth)
Both sides got 2 games against St Kilda (tenth)
Geelong got 2 games against Port (eleventh)
Sydney got 1.

Aside from the oft whinged about trope that we drew WCE and North twice, I don’t really see what delineation you’ve used to arrive at the conclusion that we’ve had it easier than Sydney

Sydney beat freo away, demons away, cats had every single difficult game either at skilled or in Melbourne, what was the cats impressive away win?

This plus Sydney flogged your mob the last time they played makes me believe they are a class above, time will tell hopefully your mob puts up a fight and gives us a GF worth watching.
