Bradley said on Wednesday the AFL had failed to achieve an appropriate resolution.

“I guess the AFL has achieved exactly what it set out to achieve. Nothing,” he told this masthead.

In November, Amy said she was in a relationship with a Hawthorn player when she alleges the club forced the man to leave her and tell her to have an abortion.

Bradley has maintained that Amy’s original decision not to take part in the investigation because of “unsafe” reasons had been the right call.

“Our client’s view is that the recent developments only reaffirm that she made the right decision to stay out of the AFL’s hopelessly compromised process. It has descended to farce, and she wants no part of it,” Bradley said earlier this month.
three sources familiar with the case said the families were not seeking a financial settlement, but wanted to engage in a mediation process and to have their stories heard and acknowledged.

I was not shocked that Carlton did not feature a player in the AFL’s article “Maximum Impact: AFL’s most damaging inside 50 kicks revealed”. 😂

Question: I’ve been speaking to a lot of blues fans and it’s almost unanimous that this has been the most disassociated and unemotionally invested with the club that they have been. Is this consistent with you?

We’ve gone through some hard times the last 20 years but I feel the clubs connection in the fans is the worst it’s ever been

I think you’re prob right to a point. But I guess you’d call it disappointment with the club not going as well as what the supporters expected/wanted - going by the booing of a team that looked broken. There’s probably that here we go again mentality among the supporter group and likely some of the players. The new board came in and have preached accountability across the entire club but that’s something that takes time and doesn’t change overnight. So I’d say it’s prob that.

Tarryn Thomas is a possible in for Norf on Sunday... hmm.

It's possible that people are motivated by more than money. They were asked to provide feedback about their experience at Hawthorn.
Where do you get these crazy ideas from :p

Just quoting Vossies much loved phrase there. "We're going to have to go to work on that".
I must admit i have given up watching press conferences, just the same corporate speak each week. Vossy isnt the only one , all the coaches trot out the party line each week.

Just wish he would say exactly what he is thinking.

Think this is a tinge unfair to one Adam Cerra. It doesn't matter overmuch to me that the article is based from current AFL stats; the degree to which the AFL media is shortsighted/prejudiced by their desire to view things as diametrically as possible is rather well known.

We have a number of players - Saad, Boyd, Williams, McGovern, Cerra - who all can hit a target in a one on one inside 50: just to be clear, that's a distinction worth making. The media treating our poor form as though it were a ceiling is but a testament to their inability to use their eyes: they were unable to observe why Richmond happened, why Melbourne sucked in 2013, why the Dogs were a sure thing in 2016. The clubs need to realise that the media are - frankly - horse shit at reading the AFL as far as trendlines go.

Does that mean we don't suck or that they're incorrect? Absolutely not. Does it mean (instead) that you need to observe why they're saying what they're saying before you make your judgement?

One would think so.

I think it's probably
You can stand me up at the gates of hell and I
Won't
Back
Down.

No I'll stand my ground
Won't be turned around
And I'll keep this world from draggin' me down
Gonna stand my ground

Interesting interview with Darcy Moore on SEN today.
Talked about players having ‘headlines in their pockets’ (phones) and how it potentially does impact a player’s state of mind.
It is a mammoth task for clubs to keep players focused on the internal messages rather than the outside noise.

It's why it's mildly entertaining listening to the difference on this forum between new coach perceptions and failed/failing coach perceptions.

The only difference between them is personal: how you feel about what they're saying.
