No. Nor is saying he drives a real man's car or shaking someone's hand strongly when you meet someone.

The fact that Collingwood are willing to take a reputation hit rather than settle the case would indicate to me that there might not be much substance to it in the end.

To me, the racism comes from the person who assumes the insult was because of race rather than behaviour.

Assuming racism as a default rather than looking for anything other possible reason. As if the person insulted has no other attributes than their race.

Sorry, just to be clear on the point of my original comments - multiple posts have framed certain allegations as “how are is that racist”.

The news reports I read claim the accusations were of racism, disability discrimination, workplace bullying and discrimination on the basis sexuality.

So just because certain aspects are not “racism” does diminish their relevance to this case.

Yep, 250 games, two flags... and most of the last two years in the Suns VFL side. But good on him - it's a different journey for every player.

Speaking of retiring Suns VFL players... I wonder if this is the year for Casboult. 16 years for the big lug, I think.

You’d have to think so. I think he’s done staggeringly well to remain on a list this long. Very happy for him though. Always loved the big unit.
