Edmund alluded to that on SEN. Sounds like they've all been sitting on the story for a few weeks at least but not wanting to step in any toes while it's a sensitive matter.
The Doggies have been known to be a bit abrasive towards media too which would play a part.

I won’t relish it as it’s bad karma. But what I will say is we had something like 16-17 out of that clash and they needed a goal in the final 12 seconds to win the game. If that’s how shit they are against a heavily depleted side, going through very poor form to begin with, imagine how shit they will be with that injury list.

A bit of a theory going round that because the Saints don't have a lot of A graders (if any) that they have to be fitter than every other team and play very defensively to be competitive.
As a result RTB flogs them on the track and hence their injury list early on.

Read about Paddy Dow's injury, didn't sound too good, spent Christmas in Hospital as his knee got infected and swollen giving him a high fever just as they were going into the break. Lyon spent Christmas morning with him. The club got around him as he couldn't go home for Christmas, his mum left the farm but his Dad was harvesting so couldn't make the trip.
