Do we know when the fixture will be released for Adelaide and Geelong games. Keen to maybe go to one of them but hard to book anything in. Geelong game might be an issue with tickets though considering half the ground is missing.

Chandler decision was garbage. I'm sure Goody wouldn't tell him to do any different next time he's on the field.

Trenners loved a good sling tackle back in the day:

What year was this? I remember the suspension didn't go down well at the time. Think he got three weeks maybe?

Gotta be 2010. I remember I tweeted which is the only time ever in me life that it was garbage an Ryan Fitzgerald answered me and said it was a bullshit decision aswell lol

EDIT: He slings Danger, then tries to sling the next bloke in a tackle too. Early Trenners was a machine :'(

perfect tackle and play on, what a time to be alive

2011 - got three weeks and commentators were up in arms - "ENOUGH is enough. The AFL is right on the brink of over-sanitising our great game. Just when most players are clear on the bump and its consequences, now there will be mass confusion about tackling."

Now we're in a place where there isn't a clear second action to sling, someone can hit their head and the guy tackling gets 2 weeks off even though he was the smaller guy in the scenario and even tried to roll him. Bizarre. Feel for Chandler, as he hasn't been able to have a clear run at AFL footy and now this.

Nice snipe. It’s fine to disagree. I get all him momentum is going forward so it has to be perfect or not KO Foley. Looks to me like he drives him down with the left shoulder movement as well though.
He's trying to turn him so he doesn't push him in the back. It's not a snipe the way you're talking about it sounds like a journo looking at it completely without any idea of what actually happens in a tackle.

IIRC they tried rubbing Viney out for that (2 or 3 weeks) and got off on appeal?
Yeah he got 2 or 3 and we took it to appeal and got him off after a huge public outcry defending him. I bloody rang Sen or one of the stations and said I didn't even wanna see a Melbourne flag if it was won in a game ya couldn't defend ya self in.

"Nick from Canada go ahead"

"yea cocko, I dont ever wanna see a Melbourne flag if ya cant smash some campaigner .."

"sorry Nick but we've had to cut you off, you cant use that language on air"

Viney, what a machine, take them both out, get up and fend off a tackle to get away a handball, beast

The assist from Alex Georgiou!

Hard to say which was his best moment as a player, that or the haymaker to Buddy.

This bloke shouldn't be in anyones worst 22's just for this.

Had forgotten about that. We are behind the play thugs vs the Swans aren't we? Bugg on Mills
It wasn't just the Swans back then. Roos knew no one respected us and just got us to be physical if other teams were on top. Vince v Dangerfield in 2015 another example

always got up for the Crows games did Bern, owned Dangerfield for those few years until we had to hide him at half back coz he couldn't run like he used to
