Spose because you could take the underdog in every game and hope for covid, then just withdraw it if nothing happens.
I don't punt so no clue with this stuff but that's interesting on withdrawing. So there certain bets you're allowed to get your money back before the result? Surely you couldn't do that for a pre-season bet on a team winning the flag. Otherwise Mick Malthouse would have been let off scott free once the wheels fell off at Essendon.

Cant even multi Casey and Melbourne to win the flag, I probably would have had a go on that if you could. :(

Would be Casey $3.25 x Dees $2.40 = $7.80 ..decent odds
Who won the VFL flag last year? I remember Casey were taking all before them. Or was the comp cancelled cause of covid?

Yeah most betting agencies would let you cash out bets without a loss as long as it's before the game/result is determined.

I don't get it when people say chandler pinned the arms, what would be the point of tackling if you allow your opponent to have arms free to dispose of the ball. The tackle was fine, was unfortunate that Foley's head hit the turf. Chandler could do that tackle 100 times and 99 of them result in no concussion.
They look for two actions, once you’ve wrapped them up, if there a second action to sling/dump them when the player is most vulnerable from having both arms pinned. If there is and player is left concussed, then see ya later. It’s a clear suspension under the rules.

It is and it's not a good look but if I was melbourne and chose to challenge I'd be pointing at the rioli tackle that resulted in LDU being concussed.

At the very least i think 1 week for chandler and 2 for ryan. Ryan runs by the ball and elects to bump. Chandler is punished because his opponent had zero spatial awareness.

Not even close to a sling/dump tackle.

Viney with 12 tackles definitely makes me think it was Goodwin.

There is nothing Chandler can do in that situation to avoid that. He is sprinting to catch a player, the player has no awareness and is too slow with the ball. Chandlers momentum is taking that guy to ground no matter what and he executes a perfect tackle. It is so far removed from sling tackles where you pin a guys arm whilst you are both stationary then you throw him to the ground.

No it’s not, it’s a dump tackle. Not the traditional dump sideways but he dumps him forward with arms not just his momentum.
Nah mate that's rubbish. Sound like a bloke who's never played footy

Sounds like a bloke who is just regurgitating the Gerard Whateley, Robbo and Kingy crap. There wasn't two actions at all. It was one continuous action. He even tries to roll him as to not get in his back.

Chandlers desperate to impress, he dives for a tackle at full speed. The Eagles bloke falls forward so what the **** is Chandler supposed to do. Let go and roll away. He'd never play another game

Lets talk about how stupid the Eagles players were btw, bloke down concussed coz his neck snapped into the turf, lets try picking him up by his neck before the doctors arrive on the scene.
