It won't be in the 20's and who cares if it is. It's irrelevant, as all that means is players we couldn't take anyway were bid on. Our picks still remain the same.

Midfielders like Crouch are a dime a dozen. We have mids who can't even get a game because we keep bringing in rejects from other clubs ... they'll only leave.

What we need to be focsuing on more than Crouch is a tall forward, a ruckman and some dash from defense. Not one-paced mids with poor footskills.

Ok who in our reserves side is equal to Crouch and would get a game ahead of him? If he is a reject then he's a bloody good reject. You act like he is a 30 year old has been who past it when he is a 26 year old who won a bnf last year

Love his acceleration, good overhead, neat kick and a goal kicker. Fairly outside but we need that.

It's not necessarily about being 'equal'. We've got Constable, Narkle and Stephens who can play as inside mids who aren't getting games ... why stifle their development and that of the player we'd take with that 1st rounders to play somebody who would make no difference to us winning a premiership. Not to mention we're stacked in that position when you add in Selwood, Dangerfield, Guthrie and Parfitt.

What's been stopping us from winning the flag of late is a quality ruckman who is durable, run from defense and a solid foil for Hawkins up forward.

Anywhere from 10 on I'd say. Assuming GWS lose Williams I could see them picking him up before we get a chance.

Thanks for that. Probably hard to see how he'd last until our current picks but looks like a fantastic prospect to me.

Clark and Perkins lighting it up on the outside in the hoops would be great to watch.

I think we need to draft a key forward if we can't trade one in but I like your thinking.

We will know more after the trade period ..but if we dont pickup a tall , a dfa or some else ..I could see us looking at cox or reid in and around our picks... as you know I like both those players ... XOH will probably look at our list and our targets and then look at the chances of being a regular some where else and selects another club ..

Really think Crouch would be a great get for us, Selwood is on his last legs so an inside bull like crouch would really help that midfield grunt, Crouch can't carry a midfield but he would assist our mids quite well. In saying that if given the choice would choose Viney over Crouch

The only one that has seemed likely - Crouch - is the one that seems to be coming to fruition. Play him as a pure inside mid, and let Danger play forward, and I can't complain at all. If we could nab XOH too, that would be the perfect trade period for me
