He misspelt Henry. It's a jokeDoes heeney fit in our fowardline?

What would you prefer ...trade 7 or trade our Fr1?. I think Id rather keep 7 ..... The story is going to be that much sweeter if we take 7 to the draft.
We need a Fr1 for Bruhn
We need a R1 for Heney
We need a pick that we can trade for the Bowes deal
If we do not trade players out... we need to find a Fr2 somewhere. ... and we keep 7
Craig Cameron was saying that they thought they would get an answer from bowes tomorrow so hopefully we all hear soon.Read through pages of the Hawks board, and one of their ITK's seemed pretty convinced after he'd spoken to a player manager - that Bowes has chosen us and was just doing his due diligence by touring the other clubs.
Along with Browne, Cleary, Cornes and Zita all putting us in the box seat, looks pretty good - and should know by tomorrow or Thursday
I can see us doing
Pick 7, 36 > Henry, pick 16, 27 (Grundy pick from Melbourne)
We fans want pick 7, but the club has shown we don’t need it.

Nah we would get better value splitting 7 into 2 teens picks or even waiting until draft night..clubs will come for picks live on the night.
Hopefully we can get the deals done with 18 plus our futures and later picks this year and keep 7.

We need a R1 for OLLIE Henry. (lol)

I think that Jye Clark is very much in our sights. Rather than splitting 7, if anything I expect us to possibly upgrade it to jump ahead of the Hawks if we sense they will strike before us.
Geelong was a $1.40 when we won the flag this yearTipping Bowes to come to us is like backing a $1.50 favorite... But a winner is a winner and I hope this short-price one gets over the line.

Im sure their eyes will go wide.. but we just have to stay steely eyed.
Id even be prepared to Do we have any idea... which club holds futures .... Does any club hold two Fr2's?
Gws have two (theirs and pies) whether we could somehow get the pies i dont know.
I dont see them doing our future 1st for bruhn and a 2nd that seems light to me..maybe if sav is added they might send back pies 2nd? I doubt they need our late 2022 picks.
Freo will have 2 fr2s once the logue trade goes through but they might trade one either for sharp or to get back into this years draft.
7News?Something along the lines of the compensation they've received for trading ? (didn't catch the name) vs the salary they were paying him ......
Not sure how / why that impacts the Henry deal......probably just Browne making it up.
Exactly. Was basically calling out Collingwood‘s double standards7News?
It was in regards to the deal between Collingwood & GWS for Bobby Hill:
- Collingwood out 2022 3rd round selection (currently pick 43), & future 2nd round selection
- GWS out Bobby Hill & 2022 3rd round selection (currently pick 40)
Also worth noting that Hill was originally taken with pick 24 (2nd round) in 2018
What Browne seemed to be suggesting is:
- Collingwood has put a high trade value on Henry -isn't the talk they want a first round pick for him?
- He's then reported that the contract offer Collingwood put to Henry was significantly less than what the contract offer to Hill which he agreed to, and thus
- The perceived trade value versus perceived contract value doesn't seem to match
No idea if it actually is a sticking point or just an opportunity for Browne to hear his own voice
18 does one.
Future 1st does the other.
Our future 2nd does bowes.
We just have to (afl rules)find a future 2nd somewhere..38 48 55 58 and 64 plus sav should be enough to get a future 2ns somewhere (and maybe a future 4th).
If we can do all that we can take 7 to the draft.
I think we have to give up one of 7 or our future 1st to get all the deals done its just a matter of which r1 we value more.
Do people think Bruhn has more upside than Clark?
I reckon no.
Maybe stats, but more so the attack on the footy... Clark looks ruthless. Bruhn more so relies on a bit of class, which may be relevant at certain class levels of footyWhat do you base that on? Stats?
A bit like you know, how Atkins and Rooke can translate at the next level, just purely on ruthlessnessWhat do you base that on? Stats?
I don't see a use for pick 36. 36 + Sav + F3rd for F2nd?Gws have two (theirs and pies) whether we could somehow get the pies i dont know.

If we are going to trade our Fr1 ... I dont not think we can trade any other future picks.I don't see a use for pick 36. 36 + Sav + F3rd for F2nd?
