Yeah I would give up pick 7 and I think we'd probably actually get something back because of the off field issues. They wouldn't want negotiations to drag out because they'd be seen to publicly endorse some of his behaviour.

Ehhh that's a dangerous game to play. I don't want our club to be associated with people who have a reputation of beating and threatening women. Then there's the multiple driving offences where he clearly doesn't care about other people's lives on the road.

Imagine what that says to all of our AFLW players with his history? Or the wider community about his driving indiscretions? It's not worth it for the optics alone.

I agree, but I don’t believe our club like to sit around waiting for success. They seem more like a go and get it type of club. I don’t mind either way to be honest, Thomas is a ridiculous talent.
