What?
All of those examples had heaps of traded in talent
Yes, they did, but Richmond's star players were Dusty and Cotchin, Melbourne's clear star player was Petracca, all of whom are top five picks.

Collingwood and Hawthorn both built flags off the back of top-six combinations bought through priority picks (Thomas and Pendlebury, Franklin and Roughead).

Someone said on sen that Duncan to WCE on a two year deal

Wouldn't be trade time without a Duncan to WA rumour

Considering his married to a local gal who is co-owner of a local business and they have 4 kids together, I'm not sure they're making a move anytime soon

It won’t be in their name.

It will be through a discretionary trust and a company will be the trustee. They and their family members might be the directors.

They would definitely have CGT if they sell and they would get higher land tax.

The company would be purchasing the property at whatever price it was sold to them at. It would be separate to BS and his wages.

I doubt the ATO would even care to examine it.

Just because a structure purchases/receives something doesn't mean it bypasses the PSI rules.

If a player is receiving an asset whether it be shares/property it's income to them. Even via a trust.

The media are really stupid and really has SFA ideas of how a contracted player isn’t going to be moved without consent just to fulfil an imaginary trade

Melbourne & Fremantle make out like bandits

Geelong & St Kilda walk out of the room before trade negations even start

Yep. It was always the same with Joel Corey, Harry Taylor, too.

Both one club players like Duncan will be.

It was a VFL season studded with success for first-year Werribee defender Riley Bice.
The stylish left-footer was invited to the AFL draft state combine, to be held this Sunday; was a finalist in the prestigious Fothergill-Round-Mitchell Medal as the league’s best Under 24 player and was named in the VFL team of the year; figured in the Bees’ first flag since 1993; and was judged his club’s best-first year player.

He also finished fourth in Werribee’s best and fairest.

AFL interest in the Albury product was reaffirmed yesterday when he was asked to present at the MCG this Saturday for a medical.

Richmond VFL’s Fothergill-Round-Mitchell Medal winner Sam “Doc’’ Davidson was also invited, as were Dandenong Stingrays surprise package Sam Toner, Josaia Delana of the GWS Academy, Oliver Hannaford of the GWV Rebels, Zane Cochrane of Oakleigh Chargers, Asher Eastham of Gippsland Power, Xavier Ivisic of Geelong Falcons, Nash King of Calder Cannons and Jhett Haeata of Sandringham Dragons.

Wondering if tomorrow is the day that Bailey Smith will make a comment about his future - tonight is the Western Bulldogs B&F, so I could see a situation where he while he has said he wants to play elsewhere next year he doesn't want to go into more details until after tonight
