He would be better off at somewhere like Richmond or ess etc.
Totally agree. The amount of list spots and the time it will take to put them ready …. having Brew for two years on the list would be no issue.

Geelongs draft was rubbish…Geelong just drafted a no one…. and odds on they will turn into a 200 game champ….
It seems the youtube experts and the media scribes have all fall into … Geelong doing a Geelong again..
Its myth but i enjoy it..
Seems like the reasons FF are going like hotcakes is because the entire first round is just academy kids… that it will be close to the worst we have ever seen it.So according to the WC board we offered our FF to them (and presumably a number of clubs with picks prior) to try secure Shanahan. Ess also offered a FF and were also knocked back.

Be interesting to see what the AFL does if the first 6-7 picks are all academy bids… how much longer can we have this Rort completing destroying the drafts integrity??
Clark I have a lot of faith in. i think he will be a regular b22 player all year and average around 20 touches give or take.Big year ahead for Knevitt. He needs to establish himself or at least go to another level such that the club can foresee a future or else he’s on borrowed time. Lack of intensity is his major issue at senior level. Maybe it’s just a confidence issue? Regardless he needs to overcome it.
Hopefully we see some continuity in Conway’s season. The fact we didn’t draft a ready to go ruck suggests the club think his woes this season can be overcome quickly.
I’m confident that we will see Clark break out in ‘25. I’m not saying he’ll be a star but he will be a lock in our 22.
Really looking forward to seeing Edwards too next year. Think he’s got a lot of potential. Hopefully he has a massive pre season.
So Brisbane is going to have a five year run of better draft picks than north Melbourne ?? Including two no1 picks (ashcrofts)Next year is a joke. And Brisbane just continue to be the beneficiary of this. After winning a flag. Equalisation?

Can edwards play as a forward?? It’s hard to see all of Conway neale edwards all in the same team.

Its because they saw pick 63, Lawson Humphries and laughed last year until they watched him cutting teams up by seasons end.Geelongs draft was rubbish…Geelong just drafted a no one…. and odds on they will turn into a 200 game champ….

Who is the third? At least 3 I think.
Is he quick and mobile?? I feel like these 200+cm talls are the future of AFL football, and geelong is well and truly moving with the times by nabbing tall mobile quick and athletic 200+cm big men… AFL in 15-20 years will look like a basketball court size wise more than AFL.I think Edwards can be a decent FF or ruck but physically he needs time to build durability. I doubt we see the best of him straight away.
I agree on clark-he has everything I like but he seriously needs to build a tank. Tactically we can't always have him as sub every 3rd week so he needs to build his running power.

Has anyone ever gotten so many no1 draft picks while finishing top four?? I feel like we have to venture back to the old zoning days to replicate such a thingAnnable in next years draft. Looks a gun. Was BOG in the exhibition match on grand final day.

For the love of god what pissesme off is there is still a “10” discount?? Why should there be any discount?? Having access itself is the privilege. There doesn’t need to be a discount applied to getting a top 5 draft pick for 10 packets of chips of picksAt least they will have to use all their picks for annable with the points table changing.
In vfl knevitt plays half a game inside mid whereas in AFL hes only on wing. It's time coaches give him more time inside at AFLKnevitt’s frustrating for me because his VFL form is so far above everyone else, then at AFL level he can’t get near it.
Re Clark, I’m getting the impression he doesn’t have the application to make it. Hope I’m wrong as he’s shown flashes of talent.
Size is the bigger priority with him IMO, and then using it to develop his natural game at both levels.I think Edwards can be a decent FF or ruck but physically he needs time to build durability. I doubt we see the best of him straight away.

Knevitt I suspect will be delisted end of 25/26. Lacks a footy brain and contested grunt. Not a fan one bit.
Bruhn issues with endurance effects his defensive running. When he fades it gets real bad. Agree with what you have mostly written. At least at times he has shown flashes at AFL level. Clark on the other hand has not really done that at even vfl level. Has a very long way to goSize is the bigger priority with him IMO, and then using it to develop his natural game at both levels.
Bruhn for instance will impact quarters/games at an AFL standard level. Occasionally, even at a 'star' level, but he fades quickly and needs to improve endurance wise. It's the one true flaw in his game, but it's a big one.
Clark is a bit different. He's not impacting games at all at AFL level, and often struggling at VFL level even when he's fresh, or playing against players with a similar standard of endurance.
It still needs to improve obviously, like it does with most young players, but his size to be able to play as a contested mid and impact regularly at AFL level is the priority.
That's his whole game. Contest, pressure, defence, and classy hands in tight to outside receivers, to go with his overhead marking which is quality, particularly for someone of his height.
He can't do that with his current frame. He could run like Blitz does for all that matters, it still wouldn't make a significant difference to the current issues that he's facing.
The endurance is the icing, he hasn't finished the cake yet

I would delist Stevens long before Knevitt. Stevens leg speed is terminal, Knevitt I think it's worth trying him as a defender first and I'd give him this preseason again with the midfield before trying that.Yep I agree.
Probably add Stevens to the delisted list as well.
