2024 Draft and Trade Period Key Dates​

Oct 17 to Nov 8: Pick swap window
Nov 1 to Nov 8: Delisted free agency period
Nov 20-21: Telstra AFL Draft
Nov 22: Telstra Pre-Season Draft and Rookie Draft

The thing is that was us last year too. Our demographics looked nowhere near that of a top 4 team. The fact we competed shows there's real talent on our list with players having big impacts way before and after their peaks.

Ultimately young players don't save you if they're no good. And Richmond are in the boat. Look at their under 24s. Is there a Holmes there? Or a Dempsey? Or an SDK or a Bailey Smith? No. There's not even an Ollie Henry, Tanner Bruhn or Lawson Humphries there that I can see. Jhye Clark who most around here are disappointed with would probably be their most impressive young player if he was at Richmond!

I would like it noted for the record that I quite like Kane McAuliffe too
