Wait so Gibbs and our second for Lyons and your first? Why would we accept a 10 pick upgrade and Lyons for Gibbs? Makes no sense at all. Think the clubs dealt with each other fairly last year, Gibbs wants to go home for his family so I wouldn't begrudge him that. Let's hope a fair deal for both sides gets done, Gibbs will be excellent for you guys and I think you all know that.

Gibbs is a very durable player and will excel in a great side. Sad to him go but best of luck to Adelaide!

If he can become our Burgoyne who gives 100-150 games of quality as an experienced player then this could be a big win.

I'd say you'll easily get five seasons out of him. Durable as hell, smart, isn't reliant on legspeed to collect his 30 touches a week. Will play on for many years, but not in navy blue it seems

He's actually very good.

We drafted and employed some quality people under his watch. He was that good the AFl socialist policy was rather violent towards us, hence why they changed the rules so we couldn't pick up Gibbs.
