im still not convinced we are a top 8 side.
*we beat both collingwood and the hawks in which has shown that both sides are struggling.
*we beat sydney while it was a great gusty effort the conditions suited us.
*today was a terrible game by both sides.if the bullies kicked straight we would have lost.

our backline is still a massive problem despite the form of hall.
gasper clearly needs to be dropped.he has no confidence at all.he cant or wont turn on a 50cent peice to save himself.

andy kellaway while still couragous the years of playing the 2nd tall is starting to have an effect on him.

chaffey while consistant still suffers from the "rookie syndrome" kicking without looking and for a bloke with so many games still coughs up the ball far to often.

the next two weeks will show us exactly where we are at.not in terms of winning or losing but how we perform either way.

They're all the teams I picked too, double incentive!

I agree TOO, it's just a matter of circumstances that we may end up in the top eight. However that's not to say at all that we'll be there for long. Towards the middle of the year things should become more clear, once everyone has played each other. We've won two on the trot but the real test is coming up int he next 2 weeks. Port and West Coast both away, a touch challenge. Let's see how they stand up against this.

2 out of 4 so far! but yeah agreed the opposition has not been that great but there are no easy games these days, AND at least the team has some confidence back. The real test is indeed the next two weeks, and while i hope we win at least one i am not too confident. i wouldnt be getting too carried away and still think it would have probably been better long term to finish last this year, but hey - loved seeing Richo kick 10 man!

all i say to that , is if they were such easy assignment why were we widely tipped to lose every one of these games , with the dogs possibly the exception

well lets see:
vs collingwood-our preseason was so so while the pies wernt that much better they did play off in last GF.

vs hawthorn-we were travelling just as bad or worse than the hawks at the time.the week before against the crows-say no more.

vs sydney do i have to spell it out for you the reasons why we were under dogs?

of all 3 the sydney match was the most impressive.

While the bullies didn't kick straight and could have put a lot more scoreboard pressure on us, in the end we only had 2 fewer shots on goal (30 to 32) and 15.15 isn't exactly great kicking either.

We could argue that we should have won by more.

perhaps however if they licked straight early on the game could have been over by half time.
