I'd laugh, but I'm not a social media animal at all, so I don't get it :(

I'd say from that he's not playing.

Back injuries are tough too because you can really easily aggravate it so I don't think he'll risk it.
Well you know more than Tex and the club then. Nicks said Tex was never doing more than just running laps today, whether he plays will be left to gameday. Tex is confident of it recovering in time, but Nicks said these back spasms can linger longer than you expect (he went through them a bit in his career).

Nicks presser:
Burgess and Gollant are line ball in terms of who replaces RT
Said that Berry often plays in the As in match sim (when he was playing SANFL last year), so don't read into Soligo playing in Bs today as some indicator he's not playing this week - reading between the lines, Soligo is playing this week
Berry will play this week
Spoke about Keane and Borlase - reading between the lines, I think Keane is playing, but not as definitive here

Will show a bit of faith in the squad if we rest Tex

AFC Thinking: No Thilthorpe, also missing Sloane's leadership from what was already a young team. Crucial game.

Usually we'd roll Tex out there no matter what, to our short and long term detriment.

Will be a telling decision

Money is on him playing, especially if he’s running laps.

LOL

Even if the club knows Walker will more than likely not be playing, they will play ducks and drakes over his fitness right up until game day. That's pretty much standard fare for most clubs to do this.

Also just to clarify, I am not being critical of the club, just pointing out that from experience with back issues I don't think he'll be right for Saturday. If he doesn't line up please feel free to thank me for giving you the scoop on Wednesday afternoon !!!!

It honestly seems like neither Tex or the club have any idea about whether it will recover in time, but they were never worried about him training today or not. Nicks said from his experience they can suddenly just feel better, or linger and be annoying; hopefully the former for Tex!

What were you told in your Ambassador briefing?

Well at least my GC tip looks pretty safe now. It will be a good test for the boys to see if can be competitive without 2 of our best forward's playing.
