Wowwwwww I’m on nightshift so I was asleep 🔫
I’m ok, if you want to pick someone different.

However, if there’s a scenario where you’re likely going to be off line for an extended period of time, when it’s likely to be your turn, the usual thing to do is pm a list of players to someone, with the instructions of highest remaining person on your list is your selection, if you’re not back online in time.

Pick 8, Geelong: Jhye Clark (Geelong Falcons, 181cm, 77kg, MID).

In my opinion the most well rounded player in the draft. Has good skills, can take a mark, plays consistently well week in week out. Clark is the perfect fit for the cats who have just lost Selwood and Clark is a like for like replacement for him. Could be a future captain option for the cats and is a low risk pick who will likely play over 200 games. Trained with the cats in the summer and is a local boy. Cats have basically gotten Clark for free as part of the Jack Bowes trade.
If the Saints acquire pick 5, I'd be taking Clark from under their noses, just to peeve em off.

As Humphrey is being compared to DeGoey, now Hewett is being compared to Martin & Patracca. And as Hewett is more the midfielder at this stage, I'm thinking that the Saints should take him. Pick 10 or 13, can't be any serious difference??? surely.

All good carry on player I wanted was picked right before me anyway

Pick 17: Henry Hustwaite (Dandenong Stingrays, 194 cm/84 kg, Inside Midfielder/Key Defender).

It's a difficult pick here. I like Hustwaite as a midfielder but he can also play as a key defender. Averaging 23 disposals and 4 tackles a game, he adds size to our midfield.

Also from here, Essendon will just be matching bids. So if I'm not around, then just assume that I've matched the bid.

Pick 18. Sydney.

Harry Barnett.

Height: 202cm
Weight: 93kg
D.O.B: 22-01-2004

Write up to be nicked from Rookie Me Central later on.
Interesting pick. Would have thought Hotton would have been a solid pick here or Szybkowski. With Ladhams only 24 I'd have thought they wouldn't need to invest in a ruck yet.
