Not at all. I can drink whisky until the cows come home but vodka or gin send my brain into a depressive chasm of disorder and chaos. I haven’t touched the stuff in 30 years.

Love ouzo though. That too I can drink by the gallon.

haha I got through last years Grannie with Scotch and Ouzo. Like I said in another thread, a few days later my defibrillator went off and I bounced all the way from my driveway out onto the street. Not sure which one of the 2 set me on a path of destruction.

It was worth it though!!!

ouzo is great …90% of the population despise it. Which is handy at parties because know one will touch it

Has to be Barbaresso ouzo though

Anything else is rubbish IMO

Nah mate...try the Plomari Ouzo. From my old man's island. Followed by 12. Barbaresso doesn't come close to them imo.

Booked in for the boys a Steak house in the city for 12.30, then going back to the hotel room for some crafties/kraken and cokes and put our normy/first goal bets on. Stroll on down to Optus around 2, see if we can get into the Camfield for a frothy (unlikely). Head into the stadium around 3ish. Afterwords, will be taking our winnings to the cas to flush it all down the toilet, and just to complete the meat bonanza might snag a steak sandwich from the merrywell at Crown.
Not often you feel like a kid at Christmas as an adult and so I’m cherishing every moment!

I'll be having a burger for lunch at a rooftop bar on the river, washed down with a few beers. Will then do the 30 min stroll along the river to the stadium, soaking up the atmosphere and sunshine. Will grab a hotdog at the stadium while watching the pre-game show and that should do me for food.

If I kick on afterwards I will either have late night Chinese in China Town, or uber-eats some fast food when I get home.

Stick to the soft cheeses to give your guts a break.
The only exemption is hard cheese on pizza.

Well my meat fest is off because Coles online stuffed up my order. However the Peacock Hotel in Northcote has come to the rescue with an awesome Grand Final pack - we're back on track. I'll still break out the BBQ for some snags but food won't be an issue.

Making up a grilled corn, fresh beetroot & avocado salsa plus a tomato, garlic, red onion, green chili & coriander salsa dressed with lime juice, oil, fish sauce, maple syrup dressing.
