OK, I can't take it anymore. An 'abductor' is someone who kidnaps people. The 'adductor' muscles are part of the hip/groin.

In my last year of playing I tore my adductor in my right (kicking) leg and had some interesting results. I found that it was a bit sore but no problem (I thought) to continue playing. I walked ok and even a light jog while keeping up with my forward opponent. However, suddenly he led for the ball and I put the hammer down only to find that I had no power at all. I couldn't even kick. I put my hand up to come off and it took me about 3 weeks to recover.

hope armety has a clear abductor muscle 🤔

I just read the first two pages of the Geelong thread and it was enough. Apparently, Collingwood played much better against them then they did against us, so the cats are a shoo-in, so we may as well not turn up. Maybe they need to stop and consider that their own team made Collingwood look good, while we absolutely pantsed them in the first half. After half time when Reid went off, Moore had no opponent and we had no second ruckman so Heeney and Gulden (should have been standing on each others' shoulders) had to do the job and we let Collingwood back in.

Every supporter base will clutch at whatever straws they can and spin however they need to feel more confident about an upcoming game. This is what makes it so much fun as we can rubbish each others' takes and promote our own when unfortunately, the only proven determinant of an outcome is closely related to toasties. Foolish cats supporters for not knowing this.

Actually the abductor muscle takes away from the centre of the body and adductor brings it in.

They'll give him every chance. Likely wont really know until the day of the game

Can't give him more than Thursday. Would have to run in the captains session in Sydney you'd assume, and I would assume that is Thursday as the parade is Friday at noon.

Back on topic:

Campbell not all that impressive as sub. Do we still go with that selection and if not who else and why?
How about Gould as a GF debut wrecking ball?

Though if Amartey not in the team he would definitely be my choice.

We'll need another tall to replace Reid. That will either be Amartey or McLean.

But bringing in Gould at this point of the year is a risk Horse won't take. Campbell came in even though he's played firsts this year found it difficult to adapt to the pace of the game. Gould would find it even worse with no first team experience let alone no finals experience.

They can always swap him with an emergency on the day

To a point and I'd go your way IF the replacements weren't young. I have a feeling knowing Reid, he'll make the call himself by Thursday.

Actually thought Campbell was better on replay (watched the game again on Sunday). I wouldn't be shocked if he is the sub although personally I'd go Cunningham.

Would you guys ever consider Callum Sinclair as a replacement for Reid? Or just Amartey/McLean only.

Na as much as Sinkers is a great clubman the bloke is as done as my steak last night.

Feel like if we can bust the game open in the first half again like Saturday Geelong won't be as ferocious as Collingwood in coming back. I feel like Geelong are downhill skiers
This is how I feel. I don't necessarily agree that they are downhill skiers, but looking back at their scoring graphs for the season, it appears to me more that they are front runners - get the lead and hold it, so if we come out all guns blazing like we did on Saturday, the pressure on them will mount and I think cracks will start to appear.
Imagine if its a draw. * haha
NO, NO, NO, NO, not a replay GF anyway. I'm flying out to Italy the following Monday and I'd be crushed if i missed it!
I always plan my holidays (well my whole life really) around The Swans and the football calendar, so if I missed a replay gf, I'd be sooooooo pissed off.
