Latest news coming from my reliable source at the Eagles is that we have snared the signature of Mark Coughlan for 3 years for 400k a year. Apparently the trade will for our first round pick and some players like Chambers and Munro. Great news for the Eagles. A win/win for both clubs.

I work with Cogs cousin and just yesterday he was telling me how happy Mark is at the club, and that he's basically been told that he is capable of anything at Tigerland.
He's also been very very well "big brothered" by Wayne Campbell, and is already being trained for leadership next season. Mark told his cousin that the best thing he could've done was leave Perth because he wasn't taking things too seriously over there. he's thriving on the chance of leading the Tigers to success again.

I have just re-read your post and I took it completely the wrong way. I agree with you about the job. My mongrel workmate goes into the rooms after every game and I never get an invite. Not happy Jan. His father, Marks Uncle, has also begun working voluntarilly at the Punt Road Museum with Ron Reiffel.

Trading Coghlan is just not an option unless the Richmond Football Club want to go into extinction.
He is basically the focus for our future at the moment I would not want to be the switchboard operator at Richmond if they traded him
