Yeah think only way this happens is if Tilthorpe or Fogarty are part of the convo. Or a random forward that hasn’t been mentioned yet in a surprise Shultz like curve-ball.

We will be investigated for tanking if we play Tmac/Brown or Schache up forward permanently in 2024
Wouldn't worry. Any tanking penalty would simply be sent our way anyway.

Petty would cost similar to Lever.

Lol.

What you don’t understand is that any offer for him would need to be significant overs due to how valued he is at the Dees and his importance to team structure. He is contracted so it isn’t a simple case of what is his value on the open market.

Adelaide seem to be coming hard but it would only occur if there was significant overs in any trade going back the other way.

Ben McKay is getting 800k from Essendon. Petty is a hell of a lot better than him.

Maybe he doesn't have the accolades of Lever but he is rated extremely highly and could be AA at either end of the ground. There's no chance Melbourne would trade him given our forward line woes. We'd have to be given your 1st rounder and a F1 to think about it but we'd be kissing 2024 goodbye of we did.

Unlike Mich0 I sure as hell have no interest in Thilthorpe and Fogarty does nothing for me so it'd have to be picks.

800k a year for a contrated player.

Lever type trade would be needed at a minimum.
Considering that trade got us Lever and Petty for the picks used on Lochie O'Brien and Liam Stocker, I bloody hope not haha.

But yeah, the Dees fans who come over to the trades board need to be a touch more realistic. Overs would be required to move Petty considering our dearth of KPF talent, but three first-rounders is ludicrous.

Surely Dees don't let him go while they're in the window without having a KPF lined up to replace him, no matter what Crows offer?
Imagine that's the case considering he's still contracted for two more years. If he was a 'pre-agent', we'd have to consider it, but unless someone is lined up to replace him, can't see it happening.

Gollant would be a perfect fit at the Dees and whilst undersized, would replace Petty as a forward neatly. Surely with the Fog & Thrillhouse he doesn’t see a huge future at Adelaide at this stage?
